Patrick County, Grayson County , Galax and Carroll County are set to hear the umpire shout Play Ball here in a few hours !

Patrick County vs Grayson County get things started at 6pm with Galax and Carroll County slated to play at approximately 8pm in the night cap.

The age bracket here is 11 & 12 year olds.

Next week the State Tournament is set to get underway for the 15U team which Mr. Reed tells me is comprised of mainly our Junior Varsity Baseball team.

The 15U team captured the runner up team in a Tournament down in Durham, North Carolina this past weekend (NET Elite).

Congratulations 👏👏👏 for the effort down in Durham and best of luck for the older players in the State Tournament and the younger ones tonight.

Almost halfway to getting the 10 enlarged Fab Four Photos 📷 delivered and this one is special. When Kris Richardson and I combined our efforts for just over one year to create our Basketball 🏀 Book 📖 on the Back 2 Back State Championships we invisioned hundreds of people taking the book and going around to collect autographs from the players and Coaches.

The reality is the count stopped at one and that one was Mr. Bill Gallimore ! Kris and I are both very appreciative of Bill because while 1 is a small number, its a World 🌎 apart from ZERO. Now, whether or Bill takes a fine tipped Sharpie and recreates history is up to him but I wouldn’t rule it out.

Six more to pass out and looking forward to each one of them !

I didn’t think there would be constructive days of +50,000 steps again now that I’m in my 60’s but the motivation of Lab work can do wonders!

These photos 📷 of the Fab Four were waiting in my Living Room due to the kindness of Kris Richardson! They arrived the day after I left and being worried about them being exposed to the elements I had asked Kris if he could protect them for everyone and of course he did.

Deliveries will start taking place this afternoon with each of the four families being at the top of the list. Darrin Mathews and Carroll County High School plus Velvet Creed Leonard get the next three before Bill Gallimore ➕ one for the OneofUs.Care Wall of Positivity.

Exciting News from Greg Talley as he has arranged for the talented group of Record Holders ( Fab Four) to be recognized by the Chamber of Commerce at their July 8th meeting! We are hoping to have the entire group there for the presentation but we will enjoy the night 🌙 with whoever can make it.

Greatly appreciate 🙏 Greg Talley for creating this ! It will be the first time they have done this for anyone outside of State Championship teams.

First Pitch is set for 3:30 pm ! Emma Leath and Katherine Lindamood will be wearing our colors once again.

It was great to hear from Shannon Dalton about tonight’s Swimming 🏊‍♂️ taking place on The Hill. Looking forward to the opportunity to catch up with her soon and hope she might send in a picture 📷 or two of your group.

2am arrival time this morning 🌄 should make for a long day but any day with Laurel Fork in it is a potentially Good Day !

Not sure what got into me yesterday but for the 11th time I crossed the Half a Hundy mark !

It was quite possibly the great news from Kris Richardson that lit the fire 🔥 but it was lit for sure.

It took going Nonstop for 2:54 at the end to sneak across the mark.

Tomorrow is an exciting day as it will be the East vs West Fellowship of Christian Athletes Softball All-Star Game down at Emory & Henry. Both Katherine Lindamood and Emma Leath are set to represent the Lady Cavaliers 👩 in the contest.
