Alyssa Ervin and Elon University are about to tipoff against #5 Southern California and JuJ u Watkins !! High Noon in the Wild, Wild West…

Carroll County graduate πŸŽ“ Alyssa Ervin is just minutes away from playing a game against a Top #5 team that is led by a All-American in JuJu Watkins.

There are no guarantees that the two of them will share the floor much across the  40 minutes but the story is a story on its own merit.

Getting on an βœˆπŸ›© and flying across Country is fun on its own ( having just done it again) and the team is staying in the Greater Los Angeles area until at least Thursday as they are set to play at California – Long Beach as well.

5’11 Freshman Alyssa Ervin

We will keep an eye πŸ‘πŸ‘€ on this contest while riding the Airport Shuttle down to Sea-Tac Airport.

Sea-Tac to Phoenix to St George, Utah today.

Here’s hoping that Elon University can make a stand today against the Trojans and that Ervin gets an opportunity to share the floor with a young lady πŸ‘©that could chase down Caitlin Clark.

  12:21 – Game is showing Delayed ???

Seven minutes of floor time and 1 rebound, 1 Field Goal attempt on the afternoon.

The team will remain in Southern California until playing again on Thursday afternoon versus California – Long Beach β›± State.

Big, Big Day in the Chase for the Allen Worrell 21 with a Grand Slam of High School Hoops !!!

Whidbey Island 🏝, Washington –

Anytime that Linda and I take an extended trip we try to have some Bonus Fun by seeing how close we can come to a number without going over. The trip length is 42 Days so the Magic would be 21. We choose Allen Worrell to honor πŸŽ– because he is our fellow Homer !

Chasing live Sporting events to the tune of needing 21, without going over. The first 3 were Duke games, then 2 HS games at Howe Sound in Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦, 1 D2 Women’s Basketball πŸ€ game at Western Washington brought up to six.

Last night πŸŒ™ it was two Community College Men’s Basketball games.

Tonight we push the number out to 12 as we take in a High School 🏫 Quadruple Header here in Coupeville, Washington. Their opponent tonight and Orcas Island 🏝 High School so its the Wolves versus the Vikings x 3.

Girls πŸ‘§ Varsity has Orcas leading 22-14 at the break. Notice the 30 second shot clock ⏰ – saw it used in Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ and now here.

βœ” out this insert in the program for the games! Great recruiting tool πŸ”§.

Here’s one from the Boys πŸ‘¦ Junior Varsity game earlier πŸ’™.

Why is the salute to Mr. Worrell so important to us ? First of all, little Guy πŸ‘¦ is so darn loveable. Somewhere his Wife Crystal is rolling her eyes πŸ‘€.

Secondly, Allen plays such a HUGE roll in our efforts to show support for everything Cavalier ! Our ability to speak for the Youth in Carroll County is growing because of our partnership with Allen, Plucky Sidekick and The Carroll News !

Fun Fact about Whidbey

It’s the second longest Island 🏝 in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ of America. Runner up to a place called Long Island (New York ).

Coupeville is leading the JV Boys πŸ‘¦ Game, 27-24 in the 3rd quarter.

Fundraising idea πŸ’‘- Pins πŸ“Œ $5.00

Always looking….

Will circle πŸ”΅ back and sprinkle in some final scores later. Meanwhile know that We πŸ’˜ Allen Worrell !

Great News from back 🏑, we just received the Swim πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ results from Shannon Dalton !!!!

The Lady πŸ‘© Wolves have pulled within 32-29 early in the 4th. πŸ‘” at 36!

Wolves 38-36, πŸ‘” at 38. Wolves at FT line 0:30.7, miss and miss. Back to the FT line, this time for 3 attempts – noise level in the Gym is loud,

Miss, Make, Make and the Wolves have completed the comeback. OI with two late turnovers…

Varsity Girls πŸ‘§ to the Wolves 🐺🦊

________________________________

The Junior Varsity Boys πŸ‘¦ had less drama as the 🐺🦊🐺🦊 led from the start

Wolves 2, Vikings 0

The Junior Varsity Girls πŸ‘§ game is a tough watch tonight. O I has a very young team and fell behind 17-0, playing against an aggressive Full Court press.

Living in a World 🌎 where you pull for the underdog…

21-1 after 8:00 minutes. Hopefully it will let up. 38-6 Halftime….44-8, late 3rd

Absolutely πŸ’―% πŸ’˜ this wall !

Boys πŸ‘¦ Varsity players are getting after each other, in a good way.

Wolves will be looking for a 4-0 sweep.

END 1st, 🐺 16, Vikings 10 (8:29/5:29)

We know that Game #21 will be the Bahamas πŸ‡§πŸ‡Έ Bowl πŸ₯£ on January 4th and #20 will be the Gator Bowl πŸ₯£ in Jacksonville on January 2nd. That leaves 8 more to get to !

Boys πŸ‘¦ Varsity reaches the Half, 🐺🦊🐺🦊🐺🦊 leading 29-26. (8:45/5:45)…

Day #5/42 begins with a look ahead to Opening Day tomorrow at Carroll County High School πŸ«!!!

It has been a Hot Minute since CCHS has competed in a regular season event and the Cavaliers will hit the ground running πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ tomorrow. Five teams are set to make their season debut tomorrow, including both Girls πŸ‘§ Basketball πŸ€ teams. Wrestling opens along with both Swim πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ squads so we will find out quickly who are friends are for the Winter season. The plan is to share anything that comes our way for the readers to be able to track their favorite teams.

Boys πŸ‘¦ JV and Varsity Basketball πŸ€ will join the Party on Friday evening. We will have our 1st of 12 Player Profiles for Anthony Barnes later today as well.

Yesterday was a 20 hour travel Day but Thankfully we are now where we will spend the next week – Whistler Village, British Columbia.

Marion Harris shares proof of snow back home 🏑 so hopefully πŸ™ everyone is staying warm.

The first piece of business in every trip to Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ is to stop βœ‹ at the first Tim Hortons and we did manage that late last night πŸŒ™.

Wanted to say Thank You to Bill Gallimore for the well wishes on the time away !

More to follow later today so until then be the Best version of yourself as possible !
