When you wake ⏰ up everyday with the hopes of making someone smile, its hard to do when you’re fighting just to stay warm inside your own house 🏠.

The High School 🏫 calendar 📅 that are Swim 🏊‍♂️ Teams are set to complete later today up in Salem. Once again, this group has been finding success in the Pool this season and we enjoy the data that we receive from Shannon Dalton after the meets.

Girls 👧 Basketball 🏀 looks to get back on the court tomorrow night 🌙 up in Radford in the Bobcats den.

Boys 👦 Basketball 🏀 hopes to play Thursday night 🌙 on The Hill as they look to add to their 12-0 start.

Both of those events will open with Junior Varsity teams playing after a victory. The Boys JV are smoking hot 🔥 right now and the Girls JV earned a “W” in their last outing, playing up in the Highlands.

  The Girls 👧 will be hosting Alleghany on Friday and the Boys welcome Galax to The Hill on Saturday afternoon.

West Long and his Wrestlers look to head down to Abingdon on Wednesday evening. Also, Coach and Kevin DeHaven are still working on getting a Home date on the calendar for the Wrestling team.

MACC is slated to compete on the 23rd and they will be looking to build on an impressive start to their season.

We have landed our Musical 🎼 entertainment for our Banquet !!!! There will be some familiar faces in the Band called “The Hopeless Romantics”

  For someone who has never been in room for one of our productions before it might be difficult to invision exactly what  to expect from it.

  Picture a quick moving production that will bounce around to cover a number of topics that are very near and dear to Linda and I. Besides the five people who are honoring, we will 15 people that we are showing our Love to. Those sketches will run between five and six minutes each. One of those will be a musical bit that I think will be memorable!

  Why is this relevant enough to write ✍ about ahead to time ? Last year we probably had 25-30 people that attended the event solely because we were honoring Rick Nester. Sadly, we didn’t begin to do that until we were four hours into the Celebration.

  I will absolutely 💯% limit my words, which is a HUGE challenge, but I will not limit the words of anyone who I invited to speak about someone who we are honoring.

  Last year we were shooting for a wrap up of 7-7:30 and we ended at 8:45. How did that happen ? Once the emotions started flowing it was beautiful 😍 and you can’t rush true emotions.

  If you end up at one of the five tables because you were invited by one of the honored people, Please know that said person is 20% of the evening because I don’t want anyone in the room not knowing that.

  If you are invited to join us otherwise, know that you are Loved, Respected and Appreciated by us. There’s a good chance that you were there last year and have an idea 💡of our Agenda 📋.

     ” We had a tough start to the game  tonight , we are still struggling with our half court offense execution when we figure that our we will be a better team. Our players are still growing into their roles. Once we figure that we will grow quicker the more we trust the process, the better we will be . We are blessed to work with some really  good young ladies.”
