Ten dedicated Student Athletes are set to defend Their Hill on a Special Senior Night πŸŒ™πŸ’™!

The Seniors that will be lacing up their Soccer ⚽️ cleats tonight with a little extra purpose are joining together at all different levels of play and connection to the Cavaliers squad.

Twins, Giovanni and Oliver Lopez along with Landon Puckett have been βš“ anchors for Head Coach Forrest Johnson all four years.

Goalie Christian Hernandez has been on the Varsity Pitch for three seasons now and the four at the top have done a tremendous job of leading my example for the newcomers as well as the underclassmen.

Harper Parnell, Julia Magana and Daniel Torres – Lopez are each finishing up a second season on the Varsity team. D-TL just completed a Hat πŸ‘’ Trick in his last time out on the Pitch at Tommy Thompson Field.

Samuel Collins, Mazen Mansour and Thomas Payne are each new to the Top Level of play as Cavaliers.

Now that we have introduced them with acknowledging the years of service on Varsity, we can focus on the one thing that they have in common – the desire to leave their mark on the game. Each of the 10 are trying hard to help Coach Johnson and his staff move the needle in regards to building a brand for Soccer ⚽️ in Carroll County, Virginia.

5:30 pm tonight is the start time for the Junior Varsity game as Coach Jeremy Puckett works on producing the next act in regards to CCHS Soccer. After Game #1 is completed, we will celebrate with our 10 and then their teammates plan to join them in an attempt to defend The Hill.

The forecast looks forgiving if we get past the initial shower, so here’s hoping that we can send our Big 10 off in style and then ice 🧊 the night with a Victory !

Free Soccer ⚽️ on The Hill tonight !

Monday morning πŸŒ„ is here and we have Tennis 🎾 and Boys πŸ‘¦ Soccer ⚽️ on the agenda ! Senior Night πŸŒ™ for 9 on the Pitch !

I believe that its the Boys Tennis 🎾 playing at Hollins but not sure ?

Meanwhile, we will spend a few minutes on The Hill tonight, celebrating the playing careers of nine Seniors that have been representing Carroll County High School 🏫 under the guidance of Forrest Johnson and Company.

Please remember that the gate has been purchased tonight so if you have time to stop βœ‹ by both Parking and Admission is on the house !…

5:30 is the scheduled time for First Touch for Coach Jeremy Puckett and his Junior Varsity squad !

Tennis 🎾 in the Roanoke Valley !

Monday Night πŸŒ™ on The Hill has all of the makings of an evening to remember as Head Coach Forrest Johnson has an opportunity to salute his Senior Class in style !

Table for Ten!

The first two times that the Boys πŸ‘¦ Soccer team had a Free Gate this season, the deck was absolutely stacked against them in regards to fellow Student Athletes attending the match.

The first time landed on a night πŸŒ™ where every other team wS in action 🎬 somewhere else. The second time was almost the same thing.

Monday night could be different as the Club celebrates the High School career of eight Seniors and the only other teams in action will be the Tennis teams and they will be finished up before first touch takes place.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Ronnie Collins and his Real Estate company and the Laurel Fork Coconut πŸ₯₯ Telegraph there will be NO CHARGE to enter the gates at Tommy Thompson Field Monday night.

Christian Hernandez, Harper Parnell, Samuel Collins, Mazen Mansour, Landon Puckett, Giovanni Lopez, Thomas Payne, Oliver Lopez and Daniel Torres – Lopez would enjoy your company on their night πŸŒ™ in the Spotlight !

Coconut πŸ₯₯🌴 Telegraph, RGC Realty, Forrest Johnson and the Soccer ⚽️ community invite you to the Ceremony and if you have the time, attending the match afterwards.

Cross-over support is a thing of Beauty !

Odds and ends on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Happy Senior Day Weekend to Miss Maddie Gordon (Page County High School) and her Penn State teammates ❀, Welcome πŸ™ Home Bill Gallimore and some Love for the Shawn & Jon Show!

Maddie Gordon had a record setting four year career under Alan Knight at Page County High School Lady Panthers. It doesn’t seem possible that she is getting ready to graduate from Penn State University.

Nicknamed ” Big Country ” by her Nittany Lion teammates because the town of Shenandoah, Virginia doesn’t stretch much further than Laurel Fork.

The younger of the Gordon sisters has been an amazing ambassador for the game of Softball and in her representation of Page County, Virginia !

Welcome πŸ™ Home to Bill( and Linda) Gallimore! Bill has been on a month long Fishing 🎣 and Fellowship retreat with some near and dear friends but he’s back in town. Ready to return to cheering on the Cavaliers and also already looking forward to the trip next year.

Β Β  Gone but not forgotten could be the tag for the folks that coach up our Track and Field teams. While the bleacher project made the Soccer ⚽️ home schedules quite the challenge, it eliminated the opportunity for T & F to perform on their Home track πŸ‘£.

This creates a challenge for a Senior Day ceremony for the group but there’s hope they can sneak in with one of the other seven teams that will be holding one in the coming weeks.

We truly appreciate πŸ™ the efforts of our duo. One teaches Social Studies and coaches three Cross Country teams while the other wears a badge to protect us in addition to keeping up with a household full of daughters.

In closing, what does a hard working Lawn Boy πŸ‘¦, a mechanically challenged Paper Boy and a sudden β›ˆπŸŒ©βš‘ storm equal =???

The answer is getting to share a laugh with ones fellow Laurel Forkian ( I think I just made that word up) about two people not bright enough to come in out of the storm. The world 🌎 is a better place with Kris Richardson in it, even if its just long enough to laugh at each other.

Tennis 🎾 News about Carroll County High School Doubles #ers and the long time Duo of Jabin Talley and Ethan Richardson…

Jabin Talley, Greg Talley and Ethan Richardson.

Β  For three seasons of Carroll County High School Boys πŸ‘¦ Tennis, the duo playing #1 Doubles was Jabin Talley and Ethan Richardson. The pairing was beyond impressive during their time together, winning 33 times (66)matches, including Regional play.

Talley is one year older than Richardson so there is one year in their four year playing careers that they weren’t paired together. Talley as a Freshman and now Richardson as a Senior.

Talley had his Freshman year cut short due to Covid. When he graduated πŸŽ“ last year as the All-Time record holder for total wins at Carroll County High School, 35 of them were recorded from the #1 Doubles slot.

This season, Richardson has moved up from the #2 Singles slot to #1 and has remained part of the #1 Doubles team. The winning has continued at a impressive pace, to the point that Richardson now has more victories in #1 Doubles than anyone else in the recorded history.

Maverick Baker and Richardson have a few more opportunities to grow the number as Carroll County winds up their season under the guidance of Christy Shupe.

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ to Ethan Richardson and best of Luck down the 🏑 stretch!
