Mr DeHaven just let me know that Bill and Linda Gallimore are the next folks to get involved with our efforts to bring a much needed piece of equipment to our Track 👣 and Field program !
Bill & Linda Gallimore, welcome 🙏
Two years ago, at the end of the year Softball Banquet, this quartet posed for a Photo. Its a perfect fit for the Book 📖.!
It took a lot longer than I expected but progress has finally been made on our other sites to where we can now have this one here become 100% Carroll County ! The transition will be complete by July 1st with the sole exception being the Softball book 📖 we are working on as those posts 📫 will include Page County Softball as well.
All of the items on other projects and Schools 🏫 we work with will move over to our sister site at Oneofuscare.blog
The Laurel Fork Coconut 🥥 Telegraph site will remain as is with that thought process being to share photos 📷 that don’t necessarily need a story attached.
Appalachian State University, Duke University, West Virginia Tech University, Kelsey Plum / WNBA. Strasburg Express and Utah Tech will now have its own 🏡.
Everything here will remain positive and bully free and with zero ads with every story being directly connected with Carroll County, Virginia.
ASPN – on The Hill!
Please understand that there is no claim to being able to cover everything in Carroll County, but everything appearing here come July 1st will have a direct connection to The Hill….
Kevin DeHaven shared some great news yesterday afternoon as Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Howard Mayo has signed up to be a Gold Sponsor on our efforts to replace the dilapidated High Jump area. Or is it called a pit ?
Mayo joins Travis Osborne, Crystal Clear Delivery, our Coconut 🥥 Telegraph and Kris Richardson at that level !
It turns out that Coach Mayo also has a Track and Field line on his impressive lifetime of public service.
We greatly appreciate the support !
Looking forward to seeing who else steps 🚶♂️ up to get involved as we work on this until the end of July. At that time we will cover the difference between what is in the kitty 😺 and the total due.
Thanks again to everyone listed above ➕ Tammy Quesenberry, Kevin DeHaven, Hagen Giles, Olde Mill Golf Resort and Rick Nester, Craig Worrell, Jon Delp and The Carroll News.
Vickey Ritchie and us had a shortened moment on The Hill this afternoon as we headed out of town. While we had hoped it to be longer, we were still incredibly grateful for the gesture 🙏 of creating a King Sized book 📖 that is full of kind words !
Added bonus that Coach Harris and Coach Kinney, Coach Howard Mayo and so many players took the time to sign one of the numerous cards !
Our trip West was delayed at the start by events taking place involving Corrie Delp and then Adrienne Harris and Jay Neal’s Strasburg Express. Now after a lengthy waiting period, Lin has a spot awaiting her at the Duke University Medical Center beginning August 4th and we will be there for a week. What happens from there will depend upon what the Doctors discover.
But this means that I get to hang out with Vickey and her group Sunday August 3rd!
Meanwhile, I will be working with Mr DeHaven and Tammy Quesenberry on the High Jump project, gathering all the information that I can for the Softball book and writing ✍ at least one story everyday.
If you are responsible for a group or team and want to get the positive word out about something, just let me know.
