6:00 First Touch for the Carroll County Boys πŸ‘¦ Soccer ⚽️ team.

Quick Recap of the Spring Sports :

Jeremy Puckett, Alexis Dalton, Brittany Kinney and Adam Nester have each completed their respective Junior Varsity seasons.

Varsity Softball and Head Coach Rick Nester missed out on their Regional tournament by one spot.

Martin McKenzie and his Girls Tennis 🎾 team did not qualify as a group but Coach is still hopeful that his #1 Singles player and his #1 Doubles team will play in the separate event held in conjunction with the team competition.

That leaves us six teams and the group is set to play across the next three days. Δ’ame #1 is today and is a stand alone contest.

Thursday is slated to see four teams in action 🎬 and Friday night will have our lone team playing on The Hill, baseball ⚾️ hosting the winner πŸ† of the 7-10 contest.

Coach Johnson is down a couple of players and has one under the weather but is ready to face the Bengals !

Lord Botetourt looks to host Cave Spring today in the #7 versus #10 game to give the Burcham Bunch an opponent for Friday night πŸŒ™

While I great deal of my focus has been on when will Carroll County High School get to actually start its post season, its worth noting that the LBHS Cavaliers have to be able to get a game in before hand.

Carroll County drew the #2 seed behind Abingdon in the Region and we are hoping that a Chalk Showdown will take place down at the Falcons diamond πŸ’Ž in June, first things first.

The teams will try again today in hopes of determining whether its the Knights or the Northern Cavaliers that will head South to Bill Worrell Field on Friday afternoon.

The Burcham Bunch

As far as Abingdon, they won’t find out their opponent until Thursday night when Pulaski County and William Byrd play the 8-9 game.
