Junior Varsity Golf ⛳ played Nine Holes yesterday afternoon and will do the same tomorrow at Olde Mill Golf Resort ⛳

JV golf results from match with Franklin Co and Floyd Co yesterday in Floyd. They play again Weds at Olde Mill at 1:00 against Floyd.

Four members of the Carroll County High School Golf team represented the School yesterday afternoon at  Great Oaks Golf Course. Franklin County also joined host Floyd County in the Tri-Meet.

Conner Higgs carded a 47 to lead the Cavaliers and CC Mitchell followed with a 55. Aiden Chambers added a 56 and Eli Lineberry a 57, giving the team 185 for their total.

Franklin County led the way with an impressive 181 and Floyd County totaled 204.

Wednesday afternoon, right here in beautiful Laurel Fork is when the teams will gather again.

Coach Kinney checks ✔ in with the recap from yesterday afternoon as her Middle School 🏫 Volleyball hosted Christiansburg.

Hey Jerry! Middle School Volleyball played at Christiansburg last night. We played a solid Christiansburg team. We started off strong by winning the coin toss and getting the opportunity to serve first. We did some really good things during the first game. We had some really good servers, some really good pass, set, and hit opportunities. I was so proud of the energy and effort that our girls put forth. However, we ended up losing 20-25. We moved on the next game. Kelly and I made a few adjustments and it fell apart… quickly. Again, we did a few good things but we struggled to get back to our “pass, set, hit” routine and ended with a big loss during that second game. We are continuing to see really good things from the young middle school team, but we’ve got to work on our team play! We play Shawsville today in a double header! Our season is rolling by quickly.

It was a very odd feeling to not be in the Gymnasium tonight but we will try to piece together some coverage as it was Lady Cavaliers versus Lady Cavaliers

It was Laiken night 🌙 on The Hill !

  Our talented Senior picked up the 🎤🎙🎤 and announced the lineups for the Junior Varsity match !

Next up – from PA to being acknowledged as just the fifth Lady Cavalier Volleyball 🏐 player to reach 1,000 Assists.

  We know that Lord Botetourt won an exciting five set match but we hope to learn more about the evening.
