Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Saved by the Bell 🔔: The Cavalier College Years sees 👀 that Katie Lam dropped four points in the teams victory on Saturday afternoon ! Congratulations 👏👏👏👏…
Kira Lawson and her Lady 👩 Blue Devils welcome Notre Dame to Cameron Indoor Stadium at Noon / 10am
Here’s hoping that 🙏 everyone has a Blessed 🙌 Day !
The game that was to be tucked in between Alyssa Ervin and Furman University ➕ Southern Utah University simply dissappeared. Southwest Virginia Community College is the home for our Smoot Brothers but after hours of searching for the match-up, we finally found that it is officially listed now as canceled.
The Smoot Brothers and their Family 👪 have been a huge part of our efforts here in Carroll County as we enter Year Six. Both Brayden and Bryce Smoot are part of the Saved by the Bell 🔔: The Cavalier College Years, along with Katie Lam, Alyssa Ervin and Elijah Cox. The information on their games is a bit harder to come by than the others but we keep plugging along just the same !
They are scheduled to play again on Tuesday night 🌙.
Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Three of our five current College players will be in action 🎬 today and the bonus game for us will be making the short by elevated ride up to Cedar City for the Southern Utah University Men’s Basketball game 🏀 at 6:30.
The Duke, UVA and where I stay motto spills over to both Utah Tech and Southern Utah in addition to the 💘 for all things Carroll County.
Anytime The Score App doesn’t have a logo next to a team it means that the team isn’t a Division One squad. This sent me to the internet ( which just might catch on ) to learn about today’s opponent for Alyssa Ervin and Furman University.
Get out there and have yourself a Blessed Day 🙌 and know that later on we will piece together something about the three games listed above ➕ anything else that finds its way to our inbox 📥…
Velvet Creed Leonard sent in a few pics last night as well. One more action shot of each Varsity Lady 👩 Cavalier…

Head Coach Howard Mayo took the time to share his thoughts on the contest with the Lady 👩 Cougars…
‘ Tonight game was a physical battle and we competed. But unfortunately we are not making the most of our scoring opportunities as we shot 5 for 27 from the field in the second half. We will continue to work on our shooting and hopefully shot the ball better Tuesday night. Our players play hard we just need to continue to get better offensively.”
Here is the start of the coverage from last night 🌙 :
Tonight we digested three Basketball 🏀 games involving Carroll County High School 🏫, Past and Present. Let’s see what we know now that we didn’t know when the Day started…
We still hope 🙏 to share more insight from the Junior Varsity rally from 10 points down in the second half to force overtime but for now we will stick a pin 📌 in this and switch over to preparing the Saturday Morning 🌄 Brew.
Thank You Velvet Leonard, Thank You Mama Smoot and Thank You Coach Mayo!

We learned that we have Special Olympics Basketball 🏀 folks that helped create a 🚢load of Blog coverage for us.
We learned that Junior Elijah Cox and the Randolph College Wildcats are going to head into their ODAC off of a victory after defeating William Peace down in Raleigh. Cox is averaging just a tick under 10 points per game.
We learned that the first C in CC is for Carolyn !
We learned that Madison Coleman plays like the energizer Bunny 🐰. Does she get her energy from her Way Cool Mom ? Bonus photo capture with Head Coach Howard Mayo overseeing the action 🎬
We already knew that Aaliyah Hampton has a pretty cool Aunt but we can add her work ethic is growing.
Carroll County JV battled back from a 17 -7 halftime deficit to force overtime before falling 43 – 36.
Varsity struggled for a brief stretch in the third quarter and that allowed Patrick County to win the nightcap 46 – 34….
We will see 👀 what the Coaches have to say about their games and create a recap or two later.
Plenty of energy on display tonight on The Hill ! Thank You Vickey Ritchie and Kevin DeHaven ❤🙏
