Carroll County High School enters tonight’sRegional Semi-final at Magna Vista supporting a shiny 9-2 record and are now playing with House Money π°.
A coach can challenge his or her team to buy into the thought process of everything is based on commitment to the Big Picture π·, but its a whole nother thing to see it play out in such a small window of time.
Seth Greer has accomplished things in a two year span that some folks never do. The beauty of the Carroll County rebuild is the fact that it’s not been done with smore and mirrors, meaning everything that took place can be duplicated
One of two outcomes will take place tonight on the campus outside of Martinsville. A 10th victory will send the Cavaliers to the promise land or a setback will close the curtain on a remarkable run πββοΈ. Either way, the journey warrants Celebration by all involved with the season.
Magna Vista is the #1 seed in the Region and come into play with a 10-1 record. The setback was a 50-49 type shoot out so its safe to say that the scoreboard operator will get a workoutπͺ tonight!

Carroll County Middle School Boys π¦ got back on the winning track Thursday night π by rallying past Radford 27-25 on The Hill.
The Cavaliers, playing for the third consecutive night, trailed 15-12 at the break but flipped the script over the final 12 minutes to secure their seventh victory on the season.
Head Coach Darian Brown looks back at another rapid fire π₯ week.
” Another tough week playing 3 in a row. Iβve had a few guys battling being sick, injuries, etc but they keep showing up! We had a very physical game against Patrick to start the week. Took a loss but proud of how hard we played. Battled with Scott Memorial in a very close game and fell short at the end. I wish we could play them one more time at our place and I think we could get them.
Last night we played Radford and it came down the very end! It was another physical game that had two technical fouls called. My guys overcame that adversity and pulled out the win by 2. This puts us at 7-7 going in to next week where we will play Christiansburg and Rural Retreat before Thanksgiving break!”
Thank You Coach !
