It’s 62Β° and its drizzling here on The Rock – perfect game day weather… We will turn this into the Weekend Out of Town Scoreboard…

We are inside the countdown for the First Touch slated at 4pm. We are still awaiting the Royals arrival but Boone rush hour traffic can get a little stressful.

The team will be playing in front of the Home fans for the last time and it’s my Hope that the weather forecast won’t keep people from attending.

Queens πŸ‘ΈUniversity has arrived from Charlotte so that’s the final hurdle for the final contest !

Later tonight we should have some type of an update on the Freshman debut of Alyssa Ervin over at Elon University !

We will keep an eye πŸ‘ on the rest of the Out of Town Scoreboard as the afternoon becomes evening.

App State 3-0 as we start the final 15:00!

2 hours and 7 minutes from App to Elon University…

K-Love Radio πŸ“» and God made that as smooth as possible !

Arrived at Halftime, just as I had thought would be the best case scenario. Elon is leading 38-23 over Winston-Salem State.

Ervin is wearing #3 this season

8:02 – Start of the 3rd Quarter.

Donna Nester has checked in from up at Radford. Carroll County Varsity Football is trailing 10-0 at Halftime versus the Bobcats.

Linda has survived her week of work down in Atlanta and has safely πŸ™ arrived at her Mother’s place out in Missouri !

Ashlyn Newman and Union University held on for a 2-1 victory tonight in Jackson, Tennessee.

Ferrum (Kalee Bunn) had a rough go of it on the road up at Bridgewater.

Eastern Mennonite University (Madison Stockner ) is set to play two matches tomorrow in Raleigh, North Carolina.

KK Newman (Bluefield ) soccer ⚽️ has completed their regular season.

Cordy Gardner and her Volleyball 🏐 team is set to play at 🏑 tomorrow.

Final, 76-46

Next Stop βœ‹ – RDU Airport !

Final 27-0 at Radford

October has quietly become November and we have reached Day 12 of F14 on the countdown…

Had a positive day in regards to the Health battle ! Penned a story that Allen Worrell picked up and ran on-line today. It was a fun night πŸŒ™ over in Ferrum Wednesday night.

Also put together the Player Profile on Miss Kalee Bunn ! βž• watched the opening 45 minutes of the App State-ODU Women’s College Soccer ⚽️ game.

Day 12 begins in Boone, where this afternoon we will play our final home Field Hockey πŸ‘ game (4 pm).

The next stop along the North Carolina trail πŸ‘£ will be Elon University.

Tonight at 7pm, Elon University Women’s Basketball πŸ€ will hold their intersquad scrimmage. This will be the very first time that Carroll County High School Alum Alyssa Ervin will wear the colors of the Phoenix.

The third and final stop βœ‹ will take place at the Raleigh Durham Airport ahead of the way to early Flight ✈️ down to Miami for the Duke University Football game versus #5 Miami.

The Blue Devils are 20 point underdogs to the Hurricane πŸŒ€ but it will be a Fun Day just the same.

Opposite of our game versus Queens, James Madison will be playing Kent State. If the Dukes remain unbeaten in league play it will mean that ASU cannot finish lower than 3rd in the final standings.

Go out there and make someone Smile πŸ˜ƒ today !

App State Women’s Soccer ⚽️ until its time to start on Kalee Bunn’s Player Profile…

Final game of the regular season and Old Dominion University is in The Valley with second place on the line.

Free Hot Chocolate was available and it was fun to see how many fans were there fully dressed up in Halloween πŸŽƒ costumes. It was equally fun to run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ across at least a half dozen people that will be working πŸ’ͺ at our game tomorrow as well.

ODU is one of the four Colleges that my oldest Brother attended on his path to earning his two pieces of Educational Papers. It also gave us Ronnie Valentine and Nancy Lieberman way back when. Valentine, if memory serves me was one of the first NCAA Men’s Hoopsters to score in double figures in over 100 games.

The only goal of the first half came on a Penalty Kick for the Monarchs with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Halftime included a Halloween πŸŽƒ costume contest between 3 finalists.

Risky Business, The Hunger Games and The Mandarin. The folks in the press box πŸ“¦ gave the nod to The Hunger Games but the cheering was fairly close.

ODU just added a late third goal to push their lead out to 3-1 with just over 1 minute remaining…

Time to get started on the Player Profile for Ferrum Junior Kalee Bunn.

For those not familiar with the profiles, they include a Family Photo, Personal Bio, Player thoughts, Mom Thoughts, Dad Thoughts, Coach Edwards thoughts and Assistant Coach Maleah Neely shares her thoughts. 7 items in All !

3-1 is your Final….
