Hike πΆββοΈ #2

Somedays everything just falls into place and life is good. Here is a thought process that might help on a day when that isn’t the case.
Lin had an appointment this morning that left me with roughly 60 minutes to fill and right down the road from Anytime Fitness. The idea π‘ of walking πΆββοΈ on a treadmill for 60 minutes wasn’t lighting my fire π₯ so I decided to make a Math game out of it.
Setting the targets at 600 calories and 2.0 miles stimulated my interest and had me adjusting both the speed and the elevation from start to finish! Anything to make it more interesting….
Β The 2.00 miles was spot on perfect but that is the easier one of the two. When the clock β° hit 60:00 I was still 1 calorie short, hence needing the 8 extra seconds to close it out.
Β This formula works for many tasks that you know need to take place but are less than stimulating. Now, the rest of the steps today will come on a nice Hike πΆββοΈ.
Have a Blessed Day π

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

The focus today is on the safe return π for all of the players and families who will be returning from Gatlinburg, Tennessee after competing in a Travel Volleyball tournament. Godspeed on your journey.
Bill Gallimore sent in a pleasant note π this morning and it included a report of 6 fresh inches of snow β in and around The Hill. Hoping that everyone has everything they need to keep life moving forward.
Yesterday was a Wall 2 Wall day of fun and I will be adding more information on that post π« for the next week or two. Today willΒ include a travel back to the Desert π drive for us so I will conclude with a thought about The Great Basketball Adventure of 2026 in regards to trying throughout the day to add to the Volleyball π story created for the VB event.
Β Nothing about the story is newsworthy or going to break any readership records but the reason why I tried to create coverage for the group is because of the Group itself. Three different age brackets of past, current and future Lady Cavaliers loaded up family πͺ cars π and drove 200+ miles for an opportunity to compete in a sport they obviously π. Travel Volleyball π has the word Travel in it and these are some dedicated folks who double up as wonderful people.

From Travis Osborne :
Our Rampage-14 Ladies report for duty at 10:00 am tomorrow(Saturday) morning for their first game at 11:00 Followed by games at 12:00 & 2:00. They will finish tommorow working the 3:00 game.

One would think that the weekend is an exciting time for the members of the Volleyball team. VB, like many other sports, has become a year around commitment and with the assistance of the folks in Gatlinburg this weekend we hope to spotlight the efforts put forth by this group.
Enjoy the experience !
More to follow :

What we know for sure is that Marion Harris and Travis Osborne are en route to the Smokey Mountains in hopes of playing some Travel Volleyball π this weekend.
Being that I’m currently 2,000 + miles away, I’m not sure what awaits these two fine Southern Gentlemen but being we are lite on material and with more Snow in the forecast……..

Godspeed on the Journey πππ
Hopefully, more 2 follow….
