Welcome πŸ™ to Thursday morning πŸŒ„ and we begin with Appalachian State University getting ready for the Fall and Marketing…

Once again App State has announced that they have sold out of their allotment of season tickets 🎟 for Football 🏈🏈🏈.

The best opportunity for folks to see the Mountaineers to play in the state of North Carolina could be in the season opener being played down in the Carolina Panthers stadium 🏟 down in Charlotte.

. Appalachian State University has remained competitive since making the move from the FCS to the FBS years ago and the Sun Belt Conference is a very competitive league but so much of the appeal to seeing a football game on The Rock comes from marketing.

It’s now a social event that folks simply don’t want to miss out on. Kidd Brewer Stadium ” only ” holds 30,000 is what a naysayer would offer but there are plenty of places in College Football that can only dream about playing in front of 30,000 every home game.

The backdrop doesn’t hurt and sitting at 3,300 feet above sea level adds to the experience. Coming off a 5-6 season that included a devastating flood in the middle that cost the team their twelve game, the fan base still lined up to get their tickets 🎟 to the show.

September 6th vs Lindenwood then October 4th vs Oregon State are wrap arounds to a trip out to play on the blue turf at Boise State. Should be a fun year for the fan base and that is what marketing will allow you to build.

Isolation and location don’t hurt either.
