Β  When Coach Montgomery πŸ“§ emails the results shortly after 10:00 am, you can imagine just how early things took place over in Marion this morning πŸŒ„….

Consecutive Silver Medal πŸ₯ˆfinishes for the Middle School Boys ! Kudos to Mr Newman for continuing his streak of PR’s πŸ‘ and congratulations to all that woke up really early on a Saturday to wear the colors !

Godspeed on the journey πŸ™ back to The Hill !

Cross Country takes center stage today as Shawn Montgomery leads our troops over to Marion for a run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ at Hungry Mother State Park ! Boo Ridge is right around the corner and its Game Day here in Durham…

Travis with his Verse of the Day !

Proverbs 20:7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

October 11th is Boo Ridge Day at Hillsville Elementary School and Vickey Ritchie is beyond excited. There is a level of competition for ALL levels of folks. There is a 5K, all the way down to a short walk πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈand its for a Great Cause. Special Olympics Basketball πŸ€ is a year around effort where our Coach & Leader, Vickey Ritchie is trying hard to include everyone who participates.

The course will be overflowing with Halloween πŸŽƒ decorations and is the same layout that Shawn Montgomery and his Cross Country teams use on the rare occasion that they compete at home.

Have yourself a Blessed Day πŸ™Œ

We were able to have a Date Night πŸŒ™ after Lin’s Medical visit but there’s still time to say Congratulations πŸ‘ to Head Coach Seth Greer and his 🏈🏈🏈 Cavaliers!

Nice break from reality !
Mariners up 1 with 8 to play !

Carroll County High School recorded its second straight shutout and improved to 3-1 on the season ! Somewhere Allen Worrell is creating your gamer on it !

Please check βœ” it out in the Morning πŸŒ„, once he gets it online…

Let’s call πŸ“ž this one : About Last Night πŸŒ™ and it included a tiny Rubber Duck ! More Volleyball 🏐 coverage….

Three young Ladies approached the scorers table late last night πŸŒ™ and presented me with the Duck pictured above ! Neat Moment…

I thought it was a very good week the kids, they’re playing hard and I’m very proud of them for that. Laiken Burnett finished with 38 Assist and 12 digs Brooke Webb had 15 kills Corrie delp had 9 kills and Ali Wright had 12 kills 12 digs and 5 aces Callie Harris had 14 Digs and 6 aces.

The paragraph above came from Coach Cindy Edwards earlier this morning πŸŒ„ and now the quote and the numbers will be blended in to the story for the Newspaper πŸ“°.

The young Lady πŸ‘© standing πŸ§β€β™‚οΈ next to Callie Harris celebrated her 80th Birthday πŸŽ‚ with us last Saturday afternoon !

Grandparents Night πŸŒ™

Knowing that we are hosting a Triple Header again on Monday, the thought would be for the Middle School 🏫 Volleyball to have Mother’s Night and the bigger Kiddos to have Kinfolk Night. This would include ALL relatives in the Gym that would like to stand next to their Lady Cavalier for introductions.

Still hoping πŸ™ to hear from Coach Heflin about her initial Home Court victory !

Time to finish up the story for Mr Worrell!
