We have all made it inside of Osborne Stadium 🏟 and there are many a role to fill. Dad, Mom, Coach, Big Sis, Little Sis, fellow State competitor, Boy Friend and some guy trying hard to capture the Moment.

Right now the Class 4 Girls are jumping their three attempts with the Class 3 Girls to follow-up. Here until its over so please check back early and often !

10:40 am update – Girls 4 still at it.

10:50 am – Girls 4 preparing for Finals now.

11:00 – best guess, first jump around 11:30ish

How this works is that All who qualified for the event get three attempts. I believe that the total number is 26(37 actually). After they have all jumped 3 times, the best will advance to the Finals. There, they’ll receive 3 additional attempts.

11:20 – Girls Class 4 is now complete in 1:50 of clock ⏰. Corrie Delp just received First Call 📞.

11:45 – Now we know more – Corrie is in the third of 3 flights ✈️ and might still be an hour from jumping.

11:50 – The playing of our National Anthem marks the switch to the afternoon session.

The flights for the Long Jump are 12,12 and 13. They are created by the Athletes PR. Delp is in the third and final flight, the one containing the best of the qualifying!

New Best Guess for first jump is 12:45ish

The upside is that the finals will take place immediately after the 3rd flight is completed. Heading in, Corrie has the eighth best recorded jump of the season in Class 3.

12:15 – Flight ✈️ 1 has completed the first two jumps and are beginning their third and final attempts.

The good news is that the rain 🌧 held off and the bad news is the rain held off. 82° feels like 86° and its not down climbing. The rain was going to keep the temps in the mid to low 70’s.

12:35 – Flight ✈️2 is prepared to start, next best guess for Corrie is now 1:20

The good news is that Corrie is resting in the shade with her Family and friends.

12:53 – we have a Corrie Delp sighting !

1:06 – practice is over, its showtime here !

1:10 – jumping 5th, first attempt was red flagged.

1:17 – great 2nd jump !

1:26 – solid third jump, we think she is in the Finals but waiting for confirmation from the officials…

16-9.25 makes it, we are in the Finals with 17-7.5, still 1/4 inch from School 🏫 record.
