One has to know that if Greg and Allen appear to be the same height that there’s a curb involved….
Getting to speak with Tee for a brief moment last Saturday vacated the top spot on my list and then I turned my attention to the next person that I have heard stories about but had never met.
The amount of times someone has told me a story about Greg is too high to count so it was an absolute pleasure officially meeting him for the first time. Once we started talking it became obvious that our paths had crossed a couple of times before, I just wasn’t aware of who he was at the time.
Five things I learned in a short period of time begins with the ring Greg was wearing. It turns out that he is a pretty big Magnum P.I and yesterday was Tom Sellecks 80th Birthday 🎂, hence wearing of the Magnum ring.
#2 – I have seen Greg wearing Wrestling gear and hanging around Wrestling Coach West Long so I asked him what was his connection to the program ? Note 📝, I was wearing my Wrestling shirt 👕 as I try to rep West whenever possible. It turns out that West married one of Greg’s daughters.
#3 – Allen tells me that Greg was a bit of a Wrestler himself back in the day. That is a story that I look forward to hearing more about later.
#4 – Greg is both a Deputy and a teacher at the High School 🏫. That is a unique daily double for sure so it begs to ask how many times has someone split their time in that manner ?
#5 – Greg went to school around the same time as Kris Richardson and had stories about that part of our History. More that I look forward to hearing more about.
Our mindset is the same in that we both think it’s more fun to be positive than negative. Sounds simple enough but important just the same.
Not sure who takes the Top Spot now but I’m sure the answer will present itself sooner than later.
