Adrienne ” Our Future” Harris had a Busy, Busy Saturday and plenty of Family 👪 members around to help !

Adrienne Harris has yet to Coach her first Varsity Soccer ⚽️ game but you wouldn’t know it. Fresh out of Emory and Henry, Harris is not far removed from starring on the Pitch herself so she’s well aware of the amount of time and effort that is needed to be successful.

Now she has to switch gears ⚙ and go from applying ridiculous standards for herself to coaching up younger players. First things First, Coach Harris has to hit the recruiting trail as she hopes to add a Junior Varsity team to her program, sooner rather than later.

Saturday was her first truly official step outside of her off season workouts and here is her take on the day, with a little help from Dad 👨

33 girls!! 8-12th graders
First ever Carroll County Girls Team Camp !!!!

Three teams represented in our camp Carroll, Galax, and the Virginia surge travel team.
We had girls from many different high schools Carroll, Galax, George Wythe, Ft Chiswell, Bland

This was a free camp that was offered to these area teams. It was the first ever girls team camp offered in school history for soccer.

We went from 12-3. The first hour the players rotated between three coaches every 20 minutes. All three teams were mixed together for this session.

Carroll girls Coach Adrienne Harris ran the offense/shooting station. Former Carroll Girls Varsity Coach Marion Harris ran a station focused on dribbling.

Then Galax varsity boys Coach and former Carroll Varsity girls Coach Francois Herbal ran a station focused on ball control.

The second half of the camp focused on team activities. Where players were able to play within their teams and grow and learn with their team.

This young Lady 👩 is going places and has plenty of room on the Bus that is Girls Soccer ⚽️. Maybe that’s why we call her ” The Future “

Everyone needs a Happy Place and mine is sitting in the stands watching 👀 Duke University Football 🏈🏈🏈 which today includes monitoring JV Volleyball 🏐! Duke (3-0) 26-21

Safely made it from Life Surge in Charlotte to Wallace Wade Stadium 🏟 in Durham and will be creating Posts 📫 in between plays of the Duke – UConn game. We are 16.5 point favorites which happens once in a Blue Moon 🌙.

Union University (Ashlyn Newman) was scheduled to play at Home last night 🌙 but it was pushed due to weather.

EMU Volleyball (Madison Stockner) split their matches today.

Mama Petty is keeping us in the Know with JV Volleyball 🏐…

Last Saturday the Varsity Volleyball 🏐 team spend the day at the annual Patrick Henry – Glade Springs VB gala.

This time its the JV’s turn for an All-Day Volleyball 🏐 Party !

Mama Petty is the first to ✔ in..

Update JV was down 24-8 and Katie Beasley served 14 straight points and came back lost 25-22…

JV won 3rd set 15-13 !!!!
