Have yourself a Blessed Day ! And Thank You Cindy Edwards for your assistance this morning with the story on Aza Petty. πŸ’˜

Carroll County High School 🏫 Volleyball 🏐 doesn’t have a Senior Class this year but it does have a Senior Full of Class!

The Hill – Aza Petty and her family πŸ‘ͺ have been cornerstones in Cindy Edwards Volleyball program for a long, long time now. Not just in the Fall months when the School team is playing but across the Calender as the travel ball World that we live in continues to expand, its hard to not find a Petty at a Volleyball event.

For the past few years the Seniors on the Volleyball team have been playing in groups. Sharing the ” Final” or Last Dance πŸ’ƒ with your friends and teammates adds to the magic of the experience.

Photos πŸ“· of the past three Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers Volleyball 🏐 teams.

Aza Petty is a kind soul and a dedicated teammate in addition to being a student of the game. Her four years of being a part of the Lady Cavalier program has included sharing the court with a large cast of players.

Madison Stockner and Kalee Bunn were former teammates that are currently playing in College and Alyssa Ervin would be if it weren’t for her Basketball πŸ€ career. Each of them benefited from sharing the court with Miss Petty!

Coach Edwards took the time to share her thoughts on Aza as well –

” Aza Petty is such an amazing young lady who has worked extremely hard in every aspect of everything she’s done.

She is such a fighter from the start of her like to on the court. She has put everything into her volleyball career, starting with a club at the age of around 9 or 10 to known as a senior. To being a true leader She is the first one in the gym and the last one out. Has worked with her day in the weight room and hardly ever takes a day off. Would take a million of her. I have so much respect for her words can’t describe what an amazing your lady.”

We have eight more 🏑 Volleyball matches left, starting with Alleghany on Tuesday night πŸŒ™. Eight more chances to catch Miss Petty and her very young teammates in action 🎬.

Cavalier Volleyball 🏐 is set to say Goodbye πŸ‘‹ to an amazing young lady πŸ‘© and now you should consider yourself officially invited to the Going Away Party πŸ₯³!

Just like that, Saturday has turned into Sunday…Limited notes from a day of Volleyball 🏐 down in Glade Springs for the Lady πŸ‘© Cavs…

Each season Carroll County Volleyball 🏐 spends a Saturday down at Patrick Henry – Glade Springs for a day stuffed full of matches.

This year it was set for 8/31 but was pushed back until 9/7 and it would appear that CCHS participated in four matches on the day.

Linda had one of her appointments today so I wasn’t down there and sadly nothing found its way to me but having experienced the last two years I do know its a long day for everyone involved.

Wanting there to be something on our site for the regular readers when they wake ⏰ up later today, I went in search of information and landed on MaxPreps.

Because of the number of matches being played throughout the day, they are reduced from Best 3 out of 5 to Best 2 out of 3. The site shows that are squad went 2-2 on the day.

The season has experienced a handful of tweaks so far in having one match (@ Pulaski County) postponed due to illness, this event being pushed back one week and then the Home opener being moved to the Auxiliary Gym.

Hopefully everything will return to normal this Tuesday night when Alleghany comes to The Hill for the Three Rivers District opener for CCHS. Both the JV and the Varsity teams will be in action 🎬 Tuesday night πŸŒ™.

Anyone that made the trek that would like to share thoughts or pics, please πŸ™ do so.
