Trenton Miller was right at Home on Saturday morning as the young man stood inside the house that his Community built and continues to build.

Today was the 18th Annual Fund raising Auction at the Island Creek Mennonite Church and School. The room was filled to the brim with people who were doing whatever needed to be done for the betterment of the Day.

Trenton attended the School for the duration of his education and has spent his entire life in and around the property. After our initial conversation we took a tour of the Church and the School.
The two hours was enlightening from beginning to end because it included everything that I feel we need more of, inclusion sitting at the lead. Everyone who desired to participate was given the opportunity to do so and it was all done through the path of Volunteering! See pillar #2 of the 3 that hold our beliefs at OneofUs.Care…
The Mennonite community has been conducting business in this manner from the beginning and getting to witness it all was special, to say the least.

The number of people involved in the process from start to finish was well into the hundreds and everything just seemed to have a flow to it. The fact that there was that level of focus to the event is a testimonial of the level of dedication.
Vickey Ritchie ends every session of Carroll County Special Olympics Basketball with the group getting together, forming a circle and saying ONE TEAM. That sure looked that way this morning and WHAT A TEAM it appeared to be.
