Ryan Largen is someone that I would want to have Coach my grandchildren and that’s the Highest compliment I can pay the young man. Coach is just getting started and it was a treat for me to get to take in his first game as Head Coach of our Middle School Football πππ team last night π.
Everything about the evening was filled to the brim with Community Pride, as I tried to capture last night during the live blog. The crowd, the energy and the atmosphere at Tommy Thompson Field was terrific π.
Naturally, the outcome wasn’t the result that Cavalier fans were hoping for but in my World that’s a side note to the story. Bad Luck to have the opponent be the Radford Bobcats but don’t let that dampen the enthusiasm for the journey that Coach Largen and his staff is going to lead you on.
Borrowing from our QB’s Family πͺ because it sums up the message. The team is in great hands and there was plenty of people there to support the effort of a team which includes a number of Kiddos spending their first game with shoulder pads on.
While I don’t know how many times that I will get to witness the team play on Game Day, please know that I’m proud to know Ryan Largen and I believe that he has your Children and your best interest in his Heart β€.

The fourth contest is a tough one because it involves Duke University playing football in Chicago against Northwestern. It’s a long time since I wasn’t in the stands when Duke played Football and that streak might end tonight.
See, its not everyday that ones wife turns 60. Today is her day but there’s a Non-Stop flight βοΈ from Greensboro to O’Hare at 6pm that lands in plenty of time for the kickoff.
If you have a πππ list going today, Please add the Smoot family πͺ to it.
Happy Birthday π to my neighbors and friends, Kris Richardson and Paul Nester as well! Two pretty cool π people to have in our World πβ€.
