2pm Sharp was the start time across 11 different tee boxes here in Laurel Fork.

The goal today is to stay with the Golfers 🏌️‍♂️until its time to announce Volleyball 🏐 and then connect back with Coach Robinson for the final results.

The action 🎬 figures to go on until somewhere in the area of 7pm and we will continue to add as we can.

The pace of the day seems to be a good one as the first hour of the competition is now in the books 📚!

The shuttles from 18 green to 1 tee are helping a great deal.

You will notice that most of the pics today are from a bit of a distance in hopes of not adding more pressure to the day. The weather so far has been picture perfect !

HIGHLIGHT – Former Radford Coach, serving as the Bobcats team Bus 🚌 Driver today, is playing alongside two of our Cavaliers that aren’t competing in the event. The talk was of adoption of the two young men because of their demeanor !!

The course is looking very Green today, thanks in part to the recent rain 🌧 and the hard work of the Staff.

So it turns out that I have yet another Birthday 🎂 Brother, as Ron turned the Big 70 yesterday. Here he is holding his Birthday present 🎁.

In just a few hours we will be giving away our Volleyball 🏐 team posters/ schedule at the Home match tonight.

The Carroll County Golf team was originally scheduled to host a match on Thursday afternoon but it has been moved up one day.

We hope to have some results for you later this evening !

Golf, JV Football, JV Volleyball 🏐 and Varsity Volleyball 🏐 are all set to take place here in the coming hours.

It only feels like forever since the home scrimmage two ➕ weeks ago but its finally time for Volleyball 🏐 to begin its regular season.

The Lady Cavaliers are four matches late in getting their season started after two separate schedule changes. Both Jason Petty and Cindy Edwards will have their squads ready to play in front of their Home 🏡 fans.

Marion High School 🏫 will be the opposing team tonight and should be playing their fourth match of the season. The Scarlett Hurricanes 🌀 carried a 1-1 record into a rematch with Abingdon last night.

The day long Volleyball 🏐 festival down at Patrick Henry – Glade Springs was scheduled for last Saturday but will now be played on 9/7/24.

The Junior Varsity Football team will also be playing tonight with their kickoff set for 6pm
