The 1st of 10 Bigger Versions is ready for tonight ! One for each of the 10 🏑 Home Dates πŸ“… with the goal being to have the team autograph them so we can put them to Good Use…

Ron Cochran , Velvet Creed Leonard, Dakota and the Walls Family πŸ‘ͺ and us here at OneofUs.Care have a couple of things in common.

Chasing the Greater Good is our theme and while nobody on that list has a direct tie πŸ‘” to the Volleyball 🏐 program but zero arms were twisted in creating this marketing strategy for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity programs.

Tonight, in the big Gym we will have Mama Petty distributing the smaller versions of the team posters and we will also have a Mother πŸ‘© in the new Gymnasium doing the same.

No admission table tonight so we are getting creative on the opening night distribution.

5:30 Varsity in Big Gym, Junior Varsity in New Gym…

See you on the Hill !

Tuesday has three options for cheering on the Cavaliers !

The one thing about the High School Golf season that makes it different from the rest of the teams sports is that its regular season is winding down by the time the first week of school 🏫 is in the books.

Coach Chase Robinson will take his top six Golfers πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ up to Draper Valley this afternoon for their next match. Pulaski County is the host squad for today’s competition.

Later today both Jason Petty and Cindy Edwards will have their Volleyball 🏐 teams on display in three team scrimmages. Abingdon and Rural Retreat are set to join the Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers in the two gyms for an evening of pre-season Volleyball 🏐.

On a more personal note πŸ“,, the Lady Mountaineers Field Hockey πŸ‘ team at Appalachian State University are set to make their pre-season debut tonight down at Wake Forrest beginning at 6:30.

App State returns to the Rock this Saturday afternoon for their home scrimmage which will be the first of our ten home dates πŸ“….

Don’t forget to enjoy the Cooler weather 😎 and have yourself a Blessed Day πŸ™

We are also celebrating Regional Love your Local Reporter Day ! If you see πŸ‘€ either one of these Hard Working gentlemen around town today, Please tell them something Nice !

Something magical is taking place at our Cavalier Park ! It promises to be a Win-Win in regards to parking and Looks !

The shot above is off the drawing board as the finished product. The benefit for the School as a whole is it will create a multitude of parking spaces for all things non-softball related!!!

The benefit for Cavalier Park is the next step πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ in our efforts to add to the beauty to our facility ! Its a great lead in to the next Big Thing which we are hoping will be starting early next month.

How big a deal was it today ? We had Casey Burcham on our side of the Boulevard and he was driving a dump truck 🚚.

Very sorry that I missed a great photo πŸ“· op like that !

Coach Nester says it will be practice per the norm tomorrow.

I was able to get the Leader Board canvas shots to Casey this afternoon.

Coach Burcham has the copies for everyone who was in the Photo !

The Carroll News runs the story about our Final Push ahead of our November 3rd deadline. Allen Worrell and Kristen Quesenberry teamed up well to frame the story !

Page 1, below the fold and continued on Page 2 of last weeks newspaper πŸ“°.

Β Β  Everything depends on timing and unfortunately we didn’t catch a break on this one. While it was great to make the front page with our latest and final project, it came at a time where the lead story was a HOT πŸ”₯ TOPIC.

Β  The $3.5 million dollar πŸ’΅ proposal for a new swimming πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ pool reduced everything else to an afterthought but that’s life and you play the hand you are dealt.

The final $10,000.00 of our $150,000.00 attempt to make a difference has been earmarked for the Academics / Clubs at Carroll County High School 🏫.

Β  That much we knew going in but I will be the first to admit that the teamwork involved in implementing the process to distribute the money πŸ’° and recognition is priceless !

Β  Kudos to the Administration Team for coming up with a plan that captures the very essence of what Linda and I hold near and dear to our hearts πŸ’•. Kindness and compassion for one another while focusing on education is a rare combination and this plan addresses all of the above !

Β  The money πŸ’° will be distributed $1,000.00 at a time across the 10 months of School with each dollar going towards a Club or cause that is away from the Athletic side of the building.

Β  Also fun to have the chosen person or people for a given month to have their πŸ™Žβ€β™€οΈπŸ™Žβ€β™‚οΈ face sit atop our site for a month !

Β  Looking forward to seeing this in place for the first time when the person / people chosen are revealed to us.

Dance, Chorus and every over program within the school 🏫 will be eligible to receive part of the money from the beginning of the School year to the end.

Β  Thank You to Chuck Thompson, Kristen Quesenberry, Jay Holderfield and Kevin DeHaven πŸ™ for their efforts with this project ! It was an easy thought to want the last thing done be solely about what matters the most.

Education is the best way to prepare our Children for the future. It’s not the only thing in the Big Picture but its worth paying attention to…
