4:00 start time for the Junior Varsity golf team as they host our neighbors from Stuart.

The Junior Varsity plays a similar format as the Varsity squad with the difference being they don’t play as long of a schedule.

Today’s match is a 9 hole competition and that’s the beginning of the story. Each one of these young golfers 🏌️♂️ will be walking around
Our hilly course, being responsible for either carrying or pulling their golf clubs. That in itself merits my appreciation!

Golfers 🏌️♂️

Cougars and Cavs…..
The goal today is to try and capture a photo of each of the three foursomes that are in the match. Everyone that you have seen up to this point have been the Varsity players.

Our Coaching Duo !

Patrick County Head Coach Phillip Steagall and long time friend, Scott Errichetti. Sherry Slaughter speaks very highly of this gentleman and I trust her thought process a great deal.
Coach Steagall is responsible for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity golfers at Patrick County.
5:27 pm – the three foresomes are now on the sixth and seventh hole…
Foresome #3 has two CCHS freshman playing, Aiden Chambers and CC Mitchell. I will do my best to get the names of the Cougars as well.
Lane Errichetti and Maddox Taylor are the Cougars in group #3…
It’s also great to see 👀 parents and Grandparents who have taken time out of their lives to rent a Golf ⛳ Cart and support their Family. In this group we have four folks in three golf cards encouraging the young ones. Aiden’s Grandfather, Lane’s Dad and CC’s parents. 💘
Moving forward to group #2, on the #9 tee box (6pm). Jacob Tolbert and Wyatt Dalton are our Golfers… Will hopefully be able to add the Cougars names as well. Ben Joyce and Caleb Vaughn for the visitors…
The lead group started on the #3 tee and are now putting on the 1st green.
Getting to visit with the Robinson duo during the outing and both shared the same thought process…
” Today is about both having fun and gaining experience in regards to actually competing as part of a team.”
Following that same thought process I mentioned that reporting the scores is an option. Today on my end is about recognizing their efforts.

Group #2 has made it back to the 1st tee now, with one hole left to play.

6:18 – Even more parents are now arriving in the clubhouse area to check on their young golfers 🏌️♂️..
Anderson Brim and Ried Corns were the Cougars in Group #1. Kyle Bunn and Gavin Webb for the Cavaliers.
Fun few hours watching 👀 our youth give it their best shot on a difficult layout.

Golf…

If there’s more to add, it will be done shortly !

The all important signing of the scorecards..

Mom’s and Daughters…

Kyle recorded his career low Nine..
