The Old School 🏫 Art of a Proper Thank You πŸ™

One of the sidebar items that Casey Burcham and I have been discussing since last weekend was doing a post πŸ“« regarding the folks that needed to be Thanked for their assistance in regards to the Alumni Day event.

I think that Yes Ma’am, No Sir, Please and Thank You πŸ™ are all important parts of Life. I live by them everyday and raised our five children to do the same.

When you are trying to get people to be involved in something you are working on its important to show gratitude in their direction. It’s easy to just slide by with ” I like to Thank everyone involved ” but I think it means more if its personal.

To give Casey an idea πŸ’‘ of what it would look like, I will now thank everyone that helped me with my portion of the event.

First of all, I would like to Thank both Casey Burcham and Steve Combs for letting us be a part of such a wonderful event.

Second, Thank You to the young Ladies collecting the πŸ’° for pointing people in my direction. Their day was busy enough without me adding more to it and all three were some gracious towards me.

Third, once again Velvet Creed Leonard took the time to help us capture the exact photos πŸ“· that we were needing.

Fourth, Thank You to Adam Nester, Alyssa Ervin, Casey Burcham and Steve Combs for taking the time to autograph the four items that we included in the Prize Package πŸ“¦.

Fifth, Thank You to each of the 113 people that took the time to list their name and make a guess on the Home Run total. This raised $565.00 towards the Building.

Sixth, Thank you to both Chris Mabry and Macie Adkins for posing for a picture πŸ“· with our contest winner πŸ†

Seventh, Thank You to Joshua Edmonds for his great job announcing πŸ‘ what we needed said when we needed it said.

Finally, Thank You to the Mother πŸ‘© of our Contest winner as she made my day by saying that Chris and Macie were two of her Sons favorite people πŸ’™.

We live in a time where people seem locked and loaded in regards to telling people about their short comings. Let’s flip the script and take the time to show gratitude πŸ™.

Thank You for reading this !
