Something Magical was in the Air today at Bill Worrell Field and as the Song 🎡 says – just when (we) needed it the most !

Great Capture from Casey Burcham by way of one of his buddies.

The Hill – Today was a special Day for everyone that spent time at Bill Worrell Field and it came at a moment when everyone could enjoy a breath of fresh air.

Casey & Combs (name diffently sticking) were your Hosts and they received assistance from a cast of many. While the list will be lengthy, it is our intention to give credit to everyone who played a roll in adding to the quality of the day long event.

The atmosphere was charged with energy and smiles were visible from beginning to end. At a time when there is so much for people to disagree about, for a day we were just All CCHS Baseball ⚾️ fans !

Kayla Nester sent in a Photo πŸ“· that captured a two generation moment.

Here’s one of the entire group of Alumni. Velvet Leonard will have a great copy of this one later !

This picture πŸ“· looks just like the scene in Field of Dreams when Ray’s Dad πŸ‘¨ removes his mask. Pretty sure that Coach Nester shed a few pounds πŸ’· while umpiring.

We will be adding more to the coverage for days to come !

Carroll County High School Baseball ⚾️ Wall of Stats makes its debut !

Casey & Combs are checking all of the boxes early on in their Chase to run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ the absolute Best version of a Baseball program possible !

On display today was the Board of Stats the duo created in hopes of listing the top spots in every baseball category.

In the photo πŸ“· above you see the five members of the List that were present at today’s Celebration. Velvet Creed Leonard took a high quality version of the group and once I have that we will order a Canvas copy for everyone in the Photo πŸ“·.

Left to Right, Casey Burcham, Rod Bryant, Hix Miller, Craig Worrell and Adam Nester. I feel pretty comfortable that I have that listed correctly but please πŸ™ inform me if there’s any name listed incorrectly.

Sunday Afternoon with Vickey Ritchie and her tall Friend & Neighbor, Brandi Mitchell – Cochran

Snuck away from Bill Worrell Field long enough to lend my voice to the efforts of our Resident Angle, Vickey Ritchie. Today it was a twofer because the Celebrity visiting team was led by Brandi Cochran – Mitchell!

Vickey has made a few posts on her Facebook page that includes a slew of photos πŸ“· and a list of Thank Yous to everyone that gave of their time !

Anytime spent helping the efforts of Vickey Ritchie is time Well Spent!

For those out there with ties to the Carroll County Special Olympics Basketball πŸ€ should check out Vickey’s latest posts πŸ“«.

Thank You to Brandi and all of her Friends and Family πŸ‘ͺ members that suited up for today’s event !!

Mighty Casey (Baseball ⚾️ term) & Combs knocked one out of the Park today !!!

Today presented roughly 15-20 story lines and I wanted to start with one of my favorite columns – The coolest 😎 Person that I’ve never met !

Each time I meet the person at the top of the list I have to replace the name.

Before the day began the name on the Top of the List was Travis Austin. Most people would surprised by the fact that Travis and I had never met in person before today since we have teamed up a few times over the years.

As we do, from time to time, we will name the gentleman πŸ•΄οΈto his right as Travis’s Cool Friend.

The next name to jump up into the Top Spot was Mason Crockett. This is/was for no other reason than our paths had never crossed before.

Very happy for Mr. Crockett for having earned the right to play Football at his dream school 🏫!

Such a pleasant experience to meet the impressive young man πŸ‘¨!!

We don’t have membership cards here at OneofUs.Care but if we did, the young Lady πŸ‘© pictured would be carrying a Platinum card. Proud to have Velvet Creed Leonard on our team !

So much coverage to follow over the next few days as well as a preview on the efforts of our Volleyball 🏐 Coach, Cindy Edwards….

Our Celebrity Guesser posing for a Photo πŸ“· with two of Carroll Countys Finest !

The scene has shifted from one side of The Hill to the other now in order to assist Vickey Ritchie at the Special Olympics Basketball πŸ€ event. Mr Jeremiah Mankins correctly guessed that six home runs would be hit !!!!!!

Plenty of information to share on the Day, once the Day comes to a close.

Please check βœ” back in later !
