Borrowing from Aaron Sorkin – “What kind of Day has it Been ?”

Mr. Berrier, Coach Burcham and Coach Combs..

On a good day I hope to run across πŸ™ one enlightening conversation and today I hit the jackpot by stumbling into a Trifecta of Top Shelf talks with each clearing the two hour mark.

Batting Leadoff was Mitch from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ✝️ and that one took place at my initial visit to the Barn Cafe in Hillsville.

Hitting in the #2 whole were my Partners in Homer’s R US. It’s been 3 full weeks since anything I have written has appeared in The Carroll News so I had to reapply for citizenship to get let into the Office 🏒.

Always quality time when I’m around Allen & Plucky !

The next stop βœ‹ was at Bill Worrell Field to check in on our new friend, Coach Casey Burcham.

Burcham and I are still in the Honeymoon stage of getting to know each other but the early returns are impressive πŸ‘ !

Each of these conversations deserve theIr own space and they will receive that once I get back from Greensboro where I am picking up my Wife after her latest business trip.

With Mitch it will be a Tale of the Tape story and with Casey it will be a Top Ten List !

Until then, here’s a Fun Question in regards to Coach Burcham – if he was holding a Baseball ⚾️ Fundraiser and one line for him was a Kissing Booth and the other was a Dunk Tank, which line would be longer ?

Delta Airlines flight ✈️ is landing so more to come later.

Sadly there will be No Joy in Mudville tonight, Alumni Baseball game mo ed to Sunday afternoon

Casey Burcham and company were all set to host the event of the Summer at Bill Worrell Field on The Hill but Mother Nature threw him a Curveball.

Unrelenting downpours left the field looking like a swamp around the infield but planners like Coach have a backup plan and the group will try again Sunday afternoon, starting around 2pm.

Much more to follow !
