Thoughts and Prayers for everyone involved 🙏. There are a number of folks on Facebook who are keeping the masses up-to-date. Being that everything is happening minute by minute, I won’t try to share the ever changing details.
If you are one that Prays 🙏, the four families and the Community involved certainly could use them.
Both Ferrum (Miss Bunn) and the Golden Bears 🐻 of WVU-T have a victory today and we still have Ferrum (2pmish) hosting Carolina University and here on the campus of Duke University we have the Blue Devils hosting the Kansas University Jayhawks at 3pm.
Let’s go back for a moment to the Lady 👩 Cavaliers and the trip to Glade Springs – it has been pushed back one week to next Saturday.
We will be adding more as the afternoon develops….

I think its too cool 😎 that the Duke Volleyball 🏐 team let’s the Basketball teams use their Gymnasium !
Colgate and South Carolina round out the 4 teams in the 3 Day event. Duke held on yesterday to defeat Colgate 3-2 and will face South Carolina tomorrow.

The team will set out the middle match and then return to action 🎬 shortly after 2pm !
Great turnout for Carroll County AAU tryouts…
Kevin offered a positive shout out for Kris and Ethan Richardson as they continue to give back to the CCHS Basketball 🏀 community.
Kevin also took the time to acknowledge the valued presence of Girls 👧 Varsity coach, Howard Mayo.

App State 3, Towson 0 turned out to be the final score in our Field Hockey 🏑 opening game Friday and even more importantly there were no hiccups during the Ceremony.
Sadly for me, when you are the one talking from the Press Box you miss out on seeing the faces during the presentation but everything went as smoothly as possible !
It was also Alumni Day and there was a great turnout across 50+ years of ASU Field Hockey 🏑
Just a few of the Staff members working in the Press Box during a highly eventful event. Most of the group will be hard at work today when App State plays their 🏡 opening Football 🏈🏈🏈 game versus East Tennessee State at 3:30 pm.
We will wrap up the weekend by returning to the Field at 10:00 am on Sunday for a Noon First Touch against Georgetown.
