The Bus π (#26) is getting ready to head out of town. The weather is not cooperative but that didn’t affect the well wishers that wanted to participate in the send off !
12:09 – Chris Mabry was in the lead Car π when the caravan pulled away from 100 Cavaliers.
Shelia Harris has great video of them heading out.
β
Three buses headed North and were driven by 3 classy people. Kayla Nester. Kris Richardson and Mr. Delp
The drive π up was pleasant enough as Allen and I enjoy each other’s company. The tough part was leaving Plucky back at the Home Office π’.
We will be adding from Tip to Buzzer and of course Allen will have your Gamer and I will have your column afterwards.
Does tonight end a magical run πββοΈ or do we live to play another day ? Either way, its been an honor for me to spend time around this program.
Please check β back closer to Game Time !

Halftime (6:32) – Trailing 39-28. Cavs pulled within 7 points and had a great look from 3pt range from Katie Lam that would have cut it to four but it rimmed out.
Cavs work their way back out of the lockeroom with 16:00 to play.
Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC) finally got to play their first game yesterday and shortly afterwards played a second one, after Wake Technical College borrowed the facilities from neighboring William Pence University.
The photo π· above is of our Macie Adkins as the Freshman started Game 2 in the Circle. Game 1 had been spent roaming centerfield for the Flying Eagles Softball program.
The most exciting news from the day came when Mom told me that Macie recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA in her first set of classes ! Putting her Carroll County High School π« education to work in such an impressive manor.
Wake Technical won the ballgames yesterday but the point of the trip wasn’t to try and capture or write a Gamer, it was about showing support for a young lady that wore our uniform last season and is now playing Softball while trying to get her College education underway.
Family πͺ is the most valuable possession we have. Enjoy it every opportunity that you can.
The team was somewhat stranded over the weekend as they waited to play games ( Saturday and Sunday were both washed out) but made good use of the time by taking in a Duke University Softball game. There were other team bonding experiences along the way and eventually games were played.
