Is there anyone out there that can help connect the dots on this one ?βAcademic Team comes to mind but would love to hear more about it!

Washington & Lee University (Lexington, Va)βhas made the trek down the highway π£ for a 2pm show down with the homestanding Cougars.

The Gymnasium is incredibly spacious and is part of the North Campus in Danville.

Averett has both a Woman’s and Men’s team and competes at the NCAA Division 3 level.

W&L is wearing their road Blue jerseys and are leading 18-11 midway through the first 20 minutes.
Averett University moved from competing in the USA South conference to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) a few years back.

For those Basketball π fans that need Hoops on a bigger stage, Wake Forrest has UVA down 12-4 at the 10:00 minute mark down in Winston-Salem.

W & L is (3-2, 9-5) before today while Averett (2-5, 4-11) is trying hard to play βΆοΈ catch-up in the standings.

One of the perks to attending the games here is that there was No Charge for admission, at least not today.βIt’s also worth mentioning that on the way over to Danville you ride past Patrick and Henry Community College, where the play Hoops at a pretty high level as well.
Wake-17, UVA 14 (4:39)

Here its halftime with your score 40-27. 15:00 on the clock β° for the break, starting at 2:45

This helps the players to raise part of the 500 dollar cost to play the travel season. I will try to get some pictures of different teams when I go back down there – Marion Harris with the information on the event that is currently taking place !
