One ringy dingy, two 💍 💍ringy dingy is the opening to a Classic skit that one would have to be as old as Greg Talley or myself to fully appreciate. But its what comes to mind 24 hours ahead of the 2022-2023 Ring 💍 Ceremony tomorrow night 🌙 for our Lady 👩 Cavaliers Basketball 🏀 team.
The ceremony will take place between the Junior Varsity and Varsity games against Honaker High School. It’s not that often that a High School Student Athlete gets to celebrate a State Championship, let alone getting to do it twice. Carroll County is now in its 7th decade of existence and the School has captured a total of three team State titles. That fact helps put into perspective just how much accomplishment it has been for this group of Hoopsters ! Ten of the 13 young Ladies will have a matching set of Rings 💍 after tomorrow night. Four of that group dare to think about making a third run 🏃♂️ to Richmond.
How impressive is this group ? So much so that I think someone should write ✍ a Book 📖 documenting their story ! Oh wait, someone has done that….
Congratulations 👏👏👏 to the group of Coaches & players who brought so much Community Pride to so many people ! Enjoy your Victory Lap #2, you’ve earned it !
