We know that it takes a Village and we feel that we have found our next Team Member – Mr. Ryan Largen !

Largen is pictured here with Junior Varsity Head Coach Jason Stockner.

When the journey began three years ago we sat down and made a list of people that we would need to have jump on the Train πŸš† for us to have a hope of reaching our destination.

We picked five up of those folks pretty quickly – Ron Cochran, Allen Worrell, Rick Nester, Marion Harris and Eddie Haskell, played by Kris Richardson. Each one of these five played, and do play huge roles in our attempt to be Carroll County Proud!

The next group includes Greg Talley, Shawn Montgomery, Anthony Barnes, Cindy Edwards and Donna Nester.

Kevin Burress is a kind soul that adds another level of personal touch to our efforts, absolutely πŸ’―% love the energy of West Long and we have recently added the Smoots to our Cause. Having Shannon Dalton keeping us in the know for the Swimming πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ is a HUGE get.

But we were missing one key ingredient – we needed to add someone younger, full of energy and is committed to helping the Youth of Carroll County, Virginia.

We believe that we have found our Man in Ryan Largen !!! Kris tells me that we might eventually lose him to his political ambitions but let’s see πŸ‘€ where we can take us until then.

The goal here is not complicated at all – just find away to support our Youth in a positive manner and have a little fun along the way!

Tonight once again, the former writer who covered the ACC Men’s Basketball πŸ€ Tournament from Press Row, continued his role as a JV Basketball πŸ€ Beat writer. The campaign of balanced coverage for all of our Youth marches on and now our Goal is to latch on to young Mr. Largen and see where he can take us!

I still believe that 1.5 out of 10 people here in the County are aware of our Daily efforts. Having a well spoken, intelligent Young Man on our team could take 1.5 and make it 2.5 and that’s all we need right now.

If the Day comes where there’s a campaign for President Largen count me in as a Volunteer πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ
