
The Hill – Carroll County defeated Grayson County 63-53 Wednesday night to even its mark on the season to 3-3. Blake Reed led the attack with a career high 19 points while adding both five steals and assists.
βReed was joined in double figures by Dane Leonard with 14 points and Colton Gravely finished with 13 points.
βGravely sparked the attack early, scoring 11 of his points in the first quarter. CCHS exploded for 22 points in that frame (22-9) and never looked back. The lead grew to 22 points by the end of the third quarter before the visitors closed out strong πͺ, behind an 11-2 run to open the fourth quarter. The final margin was 10 points but the Cavaliers had already guaranteed the season sweep.
Hayden Jackson continues to rebound from his injury, adding seven points and Evan Conner was next with six points.
βThe comfortable lead allowed Coach Stockner to play all 13 members of his roster with eight of them scoring for the Cavaliers. Trace Reavis added two points along with Kyle Bunn and Landon Kinder both adding one point to reach 63.
