It’s not very often that living in Laurel Fork gives you an advantage when it’s time to go out for a Road contest but today is one of those days ! After the third Saturday trip last season with the Girls 👧 Basketball 🏀 team I created what I deemed to be a clever tag line – Saturdays with Coach Motley !

one of the impressive things about our program is Coach seeks out the best out of district competition he can find our Lady 👩 Cavaliers. Today we are set to face Carlisle inside the Gymnasium on the campus of Patrick Henry Community College.

Carlisle is located a few miles East of Martinsville off Highway 🛣 58 (Axton). The Chiefs have already played six games this season and enter today at 3-3.
The Boys 👦 game slated in the 3pm slot is running on schedule so we should be tipping off shortly after 5:00 pm.
Roanoke Catholic (Celtics) have mounted a serious comeback against the Winston-Salem Christian Lions which brings late game fouls into the mix. The start of our game will be closer to 5:15 now.

4:51pm – W-S holds on 47-44

Our Ladies have taken the court for the 20 minute warm up period.
