The Summer League action continues today for the Volleyball 🏐 team as they head down I-81 here in a bit, ahead of their 430 start time.

Just how Good was the Softball season at 17-4? Three of the four teams that defeated us either 1-0 or 2-0 are playing games this weekend for State Championships!
Northside, James River and Tazewell are each on their way to the Botetourt Sports Complex Friday with the hopes of bringing Home 🏡 Trophy 🏆.
That leaves at 2-0 loss to Alleghany High School 🏫 as the only blemish that happened against a team that isn’t fighting for a Championship.
Sometimes you can’t fully appreciate what you are in the middle of until it plays itself out!

It turns out that the Girls Volleyball 🏐 team isn’t the only ones playing Summer League games.
Head Coach Anthony Barnes and Assistant Coach Kris Richardson have our team playing two nights 🌙 a week in preparation for next season.
Game #1 tonight is a 4pm contest versus Floyd County and then 6pm versus Rural Retreat.
CCHS is the Home team on the scoreboard for the opener.
The Smoots are wearing 1 &3, Isiah Easter is wearing 5, Davis Reitzel #10 and Ethan Richardson 20. Those five are playing as a unit together with the other 5 replacing them as a group.

Buffaloes had a shot at the buzzer but it wouldn’t fall, Cavaliers hold on 50-49.
Two more teams play now and then the Cavaliers take the court again at 6pm.

Monday 6/13 would appear to be their next time out as they play on Mondays and Wednesdays.
We hope to cross paths with them sooner than later!
Monday 6/20 the squads make their way to Hillsville.
