John Battle put runners 🏃‍♂️ on 2nd and 3rd with one out but JRHS escaped, still lead 1-0 B5

Knights reached 3rd base with just one out but can’t score. Top 6th, still 1-0

John Battle plates two runs on an ever so rare error, runner on 3rd with 1 down. Knights avoid the third run 🏃‍♂️ scoring, 2-1 Trojans in the Bottom of the sixth.

Casey Kincaid sent a shot to straight away center field but the ball was hauled in at the fence.

James River wins on a walkoff , 3-2

Eastside @ Auburn Softball in River- Eagles trying for the Three-peat in 1A…Eagles advanced 4-1

Top of 3rd, Auburn leads 1-0

Auburn adds a second Solo Home Run in the Bottom of the 3rd, lead now 2-0 as we head to the Top of the 4th.

Top of 5th – Eagles 2, Spartans 0 (4:08)

Middle of the 5th, still 2-0. Spartans have picked up a hit in each of the past 3 innings but have yet to scratch out a run.

Bottom of the 5th – Eagles have hit their third solo Home Run and for the second time it came off the bat of Kirsten Fleet

Top 6th – 3/0 – Hard hit liner to RF for the Spartans but Auburn tracked it down.

Bottom 6th – Eastside has changed Pitchers and #22 Emma has walked the first two Eagles. Back 2 Back K’s follow the Walks. Third walk and a hit by pitch made it 4-0 and finally the third out was recorded at Home Plate when Auburn tried to score on a past ball. Seven Eagles stood at home plate without the ball being put in play.

Top7th – Spartans break through with a pair of doubles. Now 4-1, two outs. Final 4-1 @ 4:56

The Gentleman on the Left is a knowledgeable and encouraging Fan from Wise, VA. His friend on the right says I shouldn’t encourage him !
