Carroll County and Alleghany split their double header earlier this season and neither team has been remotely challenged since. The two squads currently sit at 5-1 in the District with four games left to play.
Carroll County has 2 with Radford and 1 with both Floyd County and Glenvar but there’s little chance that all four will get played over the next two weeks as Radford has struggled mightily to stay competitive in their ball games ⚾️ to this point and didn’t make the trip up to Hillsville last week. The Glenvar game was postponed and is still listed on the schedule as of this morning.
There is a JV District Championship game slated for Friday May 19th and the only remaining team still alive is Floyd County at 4-3. Here’s hoping 🙏 that as many of the scheduled games can be played as the young ladies have given of their time all season.

Baseball ⚾️ on the JV side is very similar with Carroll County and Alleghany both sitting at 5-1 and headed to a District showdown.
