Varsity Soccer ⚽️ hosting the always tough Glenvar Highlanders

It’s cold πŸ₯Ά and then the wind blows but our Cavaliers are battling the elements and the Top Dog πŸ• in the Three Rivers District.

30:00 was put on the clock ⏰ to start the second half versus the normal 40:00 (7:51). Scratch that, clock ⏰ back at 40:00

13:28 remaining in the second half and the Cavaliers have played to a 1-1 tie since the break.

1-1 second half, 6-1 Final score.

Coach checked in with his take on the Match :

Assist by Alejandro Rosales and goal by Yahir Ruiz. Very proud of how the boys kept fighting and played an undefeated team 1-1 in the second half.

Just wishwe didn’t have a rough start. Things happen and we plan on building off that second half and winning our last 4 games on the road.

Thanks Coach !

Time to show some Love πŸ’˜ for the JV Softball team as they continue to wait patiently for another chance to play a game.

Alexis Dalton and her Coaching staff have something special going on this season, that is when they are given the opportunity to play games.

After starting out the season at 2-2 the team has won eight out of nine to push their record out to 10-3 on the season.

But their efforts have been slowed down by the last three Varsity opponents not having a team for the Lady Cavaliers to compete against. The stretch began with Galax that doesn’t field a JV team and has spilled over to both Glenvar and Radford this week.

Hopefully the streak will end tomorrow night πŸŒ™ when James River High School is slated to face the Cavs at Cavalier Park at 5pm.

If the Knights don’t make it to town the next chant you might here could be – Let Us Play ! Let Us Play!
