Central Falcons sit at #7 of 11 @ 16.0

Luray captures lone victory for District in abbreviated week of Football

Central, Buffalo Gap & Riverheads took the night off on Friday, leaving just 3 District teams in action.

Bill Meade phoned in the final from Luray where the Bulldogs improved to 2-3 with an impressive 34-7 victory over visiting Manassas Park (Bull Run).

Stonewall Jackson and Page County were also facing teams from the Bull Run and were less fortunate.

Update on Thursday Cross Country – SJHS vs. Riverheads

Notes from Coach Clanahan on Stonewall’s Cross Country
The Stonewall Jackson Running Generals Girls and Boys teams both came home victorous from Riverheads on Thursday October 8, 2009. Ladies SJ- 24-RHS-33 Men SJ-27-RHS-30 
Leading the way for the Ladies was Mandy Miller who finished 2nd, followed by teammates Ashley Eickenhorst-3, Kayleigh Roy-4, Estafonia Resendez-Garcia-7, & Bridgett Saavedra-8. 
The Men were lead by teamamtes Donnie Sobanko & Brynton Kolb who finished 1-2, followed by Brandon Jones-5, Jared Lohr-7 & Tommy Lear-12. 
The Generals return home next Wednesday October 14th for Senior Day with Buffalo Gap, Page & Central in a double dual meet, then run again on Saturday October 17th @ Strasburg @ 10:00 am in the annual County Meet.
