Greetings, all! This is Rebecca (on behalf of Sabrena and Josh, as well) checking in to let everyone take a peak at the work day we had here in Lynchburg, yesterday, working on the signs Josh designed. Check out these pictures!
The Deam Team, all assembled, before the work party began.
Beans wanted to take a picture but we hadn't really started, yet... use your imagination. Pretend I'm actually getting something accomplished...
So I'd like to say I was wearing the mask because of Swine Flu but the paint we were using was latex-based and, sadly, Im allergic, so I needed some protection. Though I like to think I could just tell people I was working on a sweet Mortal Kombat costume for Halloween.
Here's me painting - first few painting strokes of the day. Forgive my garb - Beans and I were supposed to go running but it was real hot so we power walked, instead.
Here's Beans in action doing some serious painting - we did pretty well, if I do say so myself.
This picture reminds me of 28 Days Later... or something. I'd look up the movie to check this reference if I weren't so lazy!
Beans in action - Josh tells us we were super helpful (you know, when we were actually accomplishing things and not just taking pictures of ourselves).
Yeah. Most people don't know this about me but I'm not half bad at this whole carpentry thing.
Josh was all over the place - cutting wood, attaching supports, measuring, painting - he's super useful to have around! Note the serious face.
I like to think that, if I were a super hero, and my super power happened to be Being Super Helpful with Carpentry, this would be my Facebook picture.
Josh got all geometric on us - measuring angles and whatnot to attach the legs.
Beans took some time out from helping to make some pizza for us - who knew hard labor made you so hungry? (See next picture).
Taking a break to eat the delicious pizza. Like the facial expression? Me too.
Yay painting! It's super cool - the paint turns the face of the sign into a chalkboardlike surface!
Josh working hard to finish the build on one of the signs while I paint.
The front of the boards before the final coat.
The view from the back of the (really super close to being) finished product.
These pictures were taken before the second coat of paint was applied and before the tape was applied to grid out the signs but we thought you’d enjoy seeing what we got accomplished! Feel free to comment, telling Josh how great his design is, or giving me pointers to make my Mortal Kombat costume better.
And from the SignGuy each of you have my seal of approval. Hard work I see and can’t wait to see the sign in person next week, its just 9 days and counting till the regular season and great news I will stay for the exhibition game.
No fair. You guys were having fun without me! Seriously, they look great. Good job.
Yeah, What she said !
Close enough that you can almost smell the grass. Just wish the grass wasn’t so wet!
Nice work guys. Looking forward to seeing the finished product !

Thanks for checking in Mike! Can’t believe it is finally time to say it – PLAY BALL !
