7 College Campuses and five Basketball ๐Ÿ€ games in one afternoon….Challenge accepted !!! Start the Clock โฐ at 6:34 am MT

Watching the Sunrise ๐ŸŒ… on the stunning BYU campus…
Game Time is not until 2pm but 7am felt like a Peaceful Easy Feeling

Each year for our Anniversary ( 41 years now) we try and plan a unique way to celebrate and this year it started at Elk Ridge, Utah at 6:34 am.

Quick stops โœ‹ at Starbucks for Lin and conveniently a Taco ๐ŸŒฎ Bell ๐Ÿ”” serving breakfast was right next door.

A few minutes later we were parked outside the Marriott Center on the Campus of Brigham Young University. It was some 7-8 hours before Tip of the Women’s game but it gave us ample time to take in the beauty of the place on our way up to Logan ( Utah State ). We knew that later on the schedule would be very tight so the sightseeing happened sooner than later.

Stop โœ‹ 2 was just down the road at Utah Valley University.

Utah Valley University is located just a few miles down the road in Orem.

It’s sad to think that this School ๐Ÿซ will be remembered by many for one day in History.

I was absolutely ๐Ÿ’ฏ% Blown Away by the crowd at Utah State !!!! No way it wouldn’t make any Top Ten list in the Country…

The Aggies ….11 am Tip Mountain โ›ฐ Time, televised on CBS

Next stop โœ‹ was in Ogden at Weber State where their most famous Alum is back as their General Manager.

It’s Dame Time !!!

7pm – Stop โœ‹ 7 of 7 falls into the category of Dumb Luck !!!

Earlier this Basketball ๐Ÿ€ season I had seen the Salt ๐Ÿง‚ Lake City Community College teams play at a neutral site so we were swinging by to just snap up some pictures ๐Ÿ“ท of their facilities.

Turns out that we stumbled into our very first Professional Volleyball ๐Ÿ match between Salt Lake Lovb and visiting Atlanta !!!!

Go figure…..
Between sets entertainment with a Jumbo Volleyball.

Salt ๐Ÿง‚ Lake 25 -16 in 1st set

Stop โœ‹ #8 of 7 took place at the Maverick Center where the Utah Grizzlies were playing their minor league Hockey ๐Ÿ’ game

Back to Elk Ridge we go !!!

9:53 pm MST – put the car ๐Ÿš— in Park at 13,539 miles and began to reminisce about everything that occurred from 6:34 am / 13,209.

15 hours, 19 minutes

330 miles

So many holes ๐Ÿ•ณ to fill in and some of that will happen after some sleep ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ˜ด.

Ex-NASCAR driver Biffle, family, 3 others killed in plane crash

https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/story/_/id/47348611/jet-owned-ex-nascar-driver-biffle-crashes-fatalities-reported

Not to long ago I was able to witness the humanitarian that was Greg Biffle up close and personal. Marion Harris, Alan Knight, Chris Carter were participating in the Benny Parsons Fund Raising Golf โ›ณ Tournament and while we were on the 18th hole, we watched a Pilot land his helicopter ๐Ÿš just to the left of us.

This was shortly after the flooding that devastated Western North Carolina and parts of both Tennessee and Virginia. It turns out Mr Biffle took it apon himself to fly much needed supplies to the folks hit the hardest by the Hurricane ๐ŸŒ€.

On his own dime and using his own chopper, Biffle was doing everything he could to help as many as possible in quite possibly their lowest moments in their lives.

Biffle and his family ๐Ÿ‘ช are gone now as are others involved in the wreck. We pray ๐Ÿ™ for everyone who has been effected by this tragedy and know that we lost a Class Act today !

Rest in Peace, Brother and know your efforts touched many lives during your time here.
