EAST BANK – It seemed just like the other day that Lawrence Nesselrodt and his West Virginia Tech Golden Bears kicked off their 2010 baseball season.
But the reality is that WVT will head over to Salem International University to face the Fighting Tigers on Wednesday for a 3:00 PM twin bill that will bring the curtain down on the regular season. Ness and his young Cubs (17 Freshman on the roster, including Kevin Bocock from here in Dayton) made great strides over the past 50 games will playing in the ultra-tough NAIA Mid-South Conference. The team will head out to Rio Grande, Ohio for the Mid-South tournament on Friday where they will play a best 2 of 3 versus the #2 seed Rio Grande (Ohio).
So if you are in the Salem, West Virginia area on Wednesday afternoon you will have one more opportunity to catch the WVU-Tech nine in action!
