The message of the Day in the Gymnasium was that the Carroll County chapter of AAU Basketball 🏀 is set to get underway in late August with Tryouts and Parent meetings.

Folks can check for updates on the Carroll County Hoops Facebook page as well.

As the dates get closer informational flyers will be sent home from School 🏫 with more details.

Very productive Thursday up to this point. Stories to still be produced are the fourth and final installment of the Adrienne Harris interview and more from Anthony Barnes’ final day of Basketball 🏀 Camp.

I would also like to say a very important Thank You 🙏 to the administration staff of Carroll County High School after the four of them set aside some time out of their busy, busy schedules to meet with me this morning 🌄. Greatly appreciated their time and energy.

Over the next 10 days there will be five ballparks to take a look at as the search for things to add to Cavalier Park continues.

Many Carroll County residents are very familiar with the Pulaski River Turtles 🐢.

Tomorrow its off to Castle Rock for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ✝️ Golf ⛳ outing with Marion Harris, Alan Knight and Mr. Nick Bell 🔔.

River Turtles 🐢 3-1, Top 5th….

Anthony Barnes and Company just capped off their annual Basketball Camp and we were in the Gymnasium with them until the final Award was given out. Plenty of coverage, including photos 📷 to come later tonight.

It’s Thursday morning 🌄 ahead of the afternoon showdowns between the teams that have been learning / practicing Basketball 🏀 since Monday morning.

The games will be played today and the Camp awards will be distributed afterwards as the latest edition of the gathering concludes.
