Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  After spending the entire winter scrambling to reschedule basketball games and wrestling matches due to the snow storms the 5Ā  AD’s were more than ready to get spring started on a strong note. Mother Nature would have no part in that! When I returned to the office there where a dozen e-mails with all of the changes due to the rainy weather. Here is a list as of 2:39 P.M. Monday…

Ā CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL – All events for Monday have been canceled.

STRASBURGĀ @ STONEWALL (Tuesday 3/16) – Baseball & Softball games have been moved to April 5TH.

*** Stonewall also pushed back its Softball games with Broadway that were scheduled for Monday!

PAGE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL – All events for Monday have been canceled. The softball versus Skyline will be made up on Friday April 9TH and the baseball games have yet to be rescheduled.

STONEWALL JACKSON (Tennis) – The Girls tennis match set for Monday versus Warren County has been pushed to Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. The match is slated to be played in New Market.

Two for Tuesday – Another Twin Bill in East Bank : WVT hosts Bluefield

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  West Virginia Tech Baseball will be hosting Bluefield College in a double-header today beginning at Noon and weather will not be an issue! The temp is already flirting with 55 degrees on the way to 64. The Golden BearsĀ  (3-3) will be looking to build on their 3 game sweep of visiting Cincinatti-Clermont over the week-end but will be in for a challenge with the Rams.
