Kevin Worrell informs us of an upcoming Corn π½ Hole π³ event next Saturday morning…

Since the first time I visited Kevin’s Barber Shop on Main Street I have been hearing about local Corn Hole events that take place in and around Carroll County. I was hoping to capture the environment of one of these events and now it looks like next Saturday morning will be the answer.
Lake Ridge Camp Ground, located off Highway π£ 100 is the location and registration is at 10:00am with the competition set to begin at 11am. Entry fee is $20.00 per team.

Just a few miles above the Carroll County Line is historical Calfee Park, which serves as the Home for the Pulaski River Turtles π’.
The folks that make up the long standing Appy League are still in business after MLB removed the group from Minor League Baseball βΎοΈ. The organizations stayed intact and rebranded as a Wood Bat Summer League.
Tough to imagine going to bed one night as the owners of the Pulaski Yankees and then finding out those days are over. Fortunately for Pulaski County the fans and community leaders stayed the course.


The River Turtles have 8 more Home π‘ games remaining on the schedule π . If you are a Baseball βΎοΈ fan and looking for some inexpensive Family πͺ Fun then Pulaski might be an option for the remainder of July.
