Even though Coach Brittany Kinney and our Junior Varsity Girls π§ Soccer don’t get to take the pitch tonight because Glenvar only has one team this year, we can still include their photo in our lead.
Varsity Soccer β½οΈ versus the Highlanders tonight will be the final stop βοΈin a 15-day stretch that began back on Monday, March 23rd, when our JV Softball team played a home softball game.
Monday – March 23rd – JV Softball
Tuesday – taking Lin to her appointment at Duke University Medical Center prevented either West Virginia Tech Baseball or Boys π¦ Soccer for me.
Wednesday – March 25th would then be the starting point for 13 consecutive days of holding a microphone π€ to support a program that we care about. Once again, it was JV Softball.
Thursday – March 26th – Boys Soccer β½οΈ
Friday – March 27th – split doubleheader as we began the day with a Varsity Softball game ahead of a JV Softball game. When a rainstorm washed out the JV game, it was across the street for the second half of the Girls π§ Varsity Soccer game.
Saturday – March 28th – This one included Middle School Track and Field and then in a surprise trackside interview in support of Dakota Walls at Caraway Speedway.
Sunday – March 29th – Special Olympics Basketball π practice! Always a treat to lend a voice to the efforts of Vickey Ritchie.
Monday – March 30th – Varsity Softball at Cavalier Park.
Tuesday – March 31st – West Virginia Tech University Baseball at Linda K Epling Stadium π
Wednesday – April 1st – another crossing of the Boulevard with the start being JV Softball and then Varsity Boys π¦ Soccer.
Thursday – Aptil 2nd – the completion of the lightning π© delayed Varsity Boys game. This day was to be centered around the Middle School π« Softball team playing at Cavalier Park but Radford needed to reschedule.
Friday – Good Friday – April 3rd – single game of WVU-T baseball βΎοΈ in Beckley
Saturday – April 4th – doubleheader of WVU-T baseball βΎοΈ versus Rio Grande
Sunday – April 5th – Easter – Special Olympics Basketball π and Easter Egg Hunt
Monday – April 6th – sadly no JV Girls Soccer, but there will be varsity.
In a lifetime of holding a π€ππ€ , I can not recall a stretch like this one before. There are so many different venues and different sports involved in the stretch

Β Β If I had more brain π§ space, I would try to count up the total number of players and coaches’ names that I’ve done my very best to pronounce correctly in the past two weeks.
Now that I’ve mentioned that, it’s time to start on the Glenvar roster.
Come out and join us tonight on The Hill, and we will miss seeing π the Battling Brittany Kinney’s eleven, but I’m sure that many of them will be around !
