Bottom 6th, and we need the bats to wake up ! The rain π§ held off, and the game has been enjoyable. The Red Storm are coached by a true baseball βΎοΈ Renaissance Man. Brad Warninmonnt has been the head coach for 26 years now, and his respect for the game is on par with both Lawrence and I.
Two on for the good guys now, and I have been working with Mason Divers on the art π¨ of announcing a college baseball game. Divers is a red-shirt student athlete here at Tech and truly has an understanding of the game.
Zac Hunt sent a deep fly to right, but it was just a loud out. Onward we go.
2 hours, 55 minutes from first pitch to last out. Well played game with only two errors, and it felt a little like Varsity Softball in that we matched the hits but not the runs. All nine of our base hits were singles, while the Red Storm had two doubles and one π£ bomb.
On the way out I stumbled across two of the finest young men to where the Golden Bears π» Baseball uniform.

Both admitted to staying out of my line of sight to avoid being recognized by the announcer. That guy π¦ is really good !
We do it again at Noon tomorrow, a nine inning followed by a seven inning game.
