The Basketball 🏀 chase across the United States 🇺🇸 concluded with a game on ” The Farm ” at Stanford University !!!

The Farm :

Marketing is the Love 💘 of my Life, especially in my later years and everything that Stanford University did today was designed to enhance the two hours spent inside their Maples 🍁 Pavillion. Wow, did it work !!

The Band was highly entertaining, very colorful and not a single ounce of negativity directed at the visiting fans or players !!!

One of the two giveaway items today was a Stanford University Cardinal rally towel.

The court itself will forever be named in the honor of Coach Tara Vandervere, number two on the All-Time Wins list in Men’s / Women’s College Basketball 🏀.

The crowd was both knowledgeable and loud which was impressive 10 fold when you factor in the San Francisco 49ers were beating the Philadelphia Eagles at the same time. The 49ers play their home games a stones throw from The Farm 🚜

They had a bonus offer from a local restaurant for a free Cheeseburger 🍔 if Duke missed consecutive free throws in the second half and thankfully the home fans went home hungry….

The Cal- 🚆train dropped us off two miles from the Gym which created a beautiful hike 🚶‍♂️ across the gorgeous Campus !

The day was highlighted by spending it with the Love 💘 of my Life and watching  👀 a well played D1 College Basketball game. The fact that it was Kira Lawson and her Lady Blue Devils just iced the cake 🎂

The next stop ✋ on the picture perfect day was a great dinner 🍽 at the Blue Line Pizza in Burlingame

The Mascot was on fire 🔥

Tomorrow morning 🌄 we will head back  to St.George by way of Los Angeles and will turn our Basketball attention to the young Ladies who play for Howard Mayo as the Lady Cavaliers host Cave Spring High School 🏫 on The Hill…

The Hill, the Fort, the Farm, the Swamp, Death Valley and for the Smoot Family we will add the Horseshoe. Michigan has The Big House and Duke plays in the Bull City. See, Marketing is FUN!!!

2,667 miles from The Hill

   There are only so many places one can be in the continental United States 🇺🇸 and have the distance be greater than it is today.

  Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day showed up at the exact 🙌 second it needed to be inserted this morning. Just a God thing 🙏🙌.

Closing in on 900 consecutive days of creating something positive to read in the morning to start their day, sometimes the challenge is greater than others.

I know there were two exciting NFL playoff games yesterday and those would be easy to write ✍ about but that doesn’t accomplish any of my objectives

Display at the SFO Airport yesterday afternoon tells us about a Big Game that’s going to be played here in a few weeks.

  The number  one challenge that presented itself a few years back when I downsized the list of things that I would include on my site to whats going on right in front of me is that everyone involved has their own agenda 📋 when it comes to wanting coverage.

For some, they want to be left alone and just do their job.

For others, if it doesn’t happen on Facebook then it doesn’t count.

The next group falls into the category of its not in-line News than it doesn’t exist.

The next group of folks still want to pick up a Newspaper 📰 and read about things around them.

At the end of the day, I have no control over anything other than what I believe and thats what I run with every Morning when I wake up and start typing on my site.

Right around 1,100 folks took a look see 👀 and the things that were created here the past 48 hours. Those numbers are plenty for a person who has a tag line of ” Encouraging the World 🌎, one person at a Time “

Later today I will walk 🚶‍♂️ through the doors 🚪 of the final Gymnasium on a list of College buildings that I hoped to see a Basketball game at. Maples 🍁 Pavillion in Palo Alto. It promises to be an exciting time for Lin and I but per the norm, I will stop ✋ what I’m doing to create a post / story if someone sends something our way.
