Maybe Kira Lawson knew what she was doing with our November schedule after all ??? Lady πŸ‘© Blue Devils win πŸ’™ sixth straight after 3-6 start with the latest one coming against a Top 20 foe !

As soon as I saw the November schedule for Duke University Women’s Basketball πŸ€ I immediately thought two things. First, I am so going to travel to the bizarre eight games and my second one was I hope we can go 4-4.

Paris, France πŸ‡«πŸ‡· was the starting point and from there it was The Greenbriar Resort (versus West Virginia ) βž• at Liberty University and University of South Florida. The team did sneak in two home games before heading to Las Vegas, joining Texas, UCLA & South Carolina in a Thanksgiving doubleheader.

After the stretch (3-5) it was home to host LSU. That loss dropped the team to 3-6 on the season and I wondered if Lawson had possibly damaged the team psyche by throwing them into the deep end of the pool ?

Paris was against #22 Baylor University

Fast Forward to today and Duke sits at 9-6 and one of four undefeated teams in the ACC !

First five victories were non – descript but this one came against an always tough Notre Dame team that entered the day ranked #18.

Womens Basketball πŸ€ is alive and well, especially in the Atlantic Coast Conference !!!

Saved by the Bell πŸ””: The Cavalier College Years sees πŸ‘€ that Katie Lam dropped four points in the teams victory on Saturday afternoon ! Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘…

Kira Lawson and her Lady πŸ‘© Blue Devils welcome Notre Dame to Cameron Indoor Stadium at Noon  / 10am

Here’s hoping that πŸ™ everyone has a Blessed πŸ™Œ Day !

Game 2 of 3 on Saturday afternoon is still a bit of a mystery but atleast now the Johnston College page is showing it as canceled.

Brayden and Bryce Smoot

The game that was to be tucked in between Alyssa Ervin and Furman University βž• Southern Utah University simply dissappeared. Southwest Virginia Community College is the home for our Smoot Brothers but after hours of searching for the match-up, we finally found that it is officially listed now as canceled.

The Smoot Brothers and their Family πŸ‘ͺ have been a huge part of our efforts here in Carroll County as we enter Year Six. Both Brayden and Bryce Smoot are part of the Saved by the Bell πŸ””: The Cavalier College Years, along with Katie Lam, Alyssa Ervin and Elijah Cox. The information on their games is a bit harder to come by than the others but we keep plugging along just the same !

They are scheduled to play again on Tuesday night πŸŒ™.
