Schedule announcement for Monday morning π

Duke’s 12th Bowl π₯£ Game since 1963 is the second repeat location as we return to the Stadium π built into a rock wall on the side of a Cliff.
Arizona State University will once again be the opponent for our beloved Blue Devils.
24 Days remaining….

End of 3rd, now 57-36 for the Eagles.
72-56 is your final score from Statesboro. Furman University made a strong πͺ run to pull within 12 but couldn’t get over the hump. Still young, still learning how to win on the road. Just like Taylor, they will need to Shake, Shake, Shake this one of.
30 minutes played and 13 points scored but struggled slightly with getting her shots to fall. The team will play βΆοΈ again next Sunday at home π‘.

Notre Dame was the odd team out of the playoffs as Miami prevented the ACC from being shut out. The downside is that the Fighting Irish join our (ACC) Bowl π₯£ Pool.
The top three Bowls for our league are the Pop Tarts Bowl in Orlando, Holiday Bowl in San Diego and the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville. ND(10-2), Virginia(10-3) and Duke(8-5) lead the way but nothing is guaranteed.
*************** Notre Dame says no playoff = no Bowl at all. Feel terrible for the players in this situation but it should help Duke.
Georgia Tech (9-3) and Southern Methodist(8-4), Wake Forest (8-4),Pitt (8-4) Louisville (8-4) are others anxious about the decisions.
California, Clemson & North Carolina State are among the 7-5 teams and we know that California has left our Pool to go to Hawaii.

Indianapolis has switched from one former Duke quarterback (Daniel Jones) to the other one ( Riley Leonard) as Jones is injured vs Jacksonville. Colts fall 36-19 and will now have to travel out to Seattle. Early thought process has Jones out for the season.
Halftime for Furman University is almost over so I will get back to this with updates.
Hopefully everyone is enjoying there Sunday !

Alex Cruz finished up with a second place finish yesterday and Trenton Newman earned a sixth place finish for West Long and Carroll County. The event was originally slated to stretch across two days but the winter weather shortened it to one very long one.
Congratulations to both of these young men on their spots on the Podium and to each Wrestler in the Kristy Jones Photo π· that spent their Saturday representing our School π« !

Yesterday afternoon, Glenvar High School continued its march towards winning the State Football Championship while the Lake Taylor Titans ended the run of Magna Vista in Tidewater. Grayson County had their impressive season end as well.
Have yourself a Blessed Day π.
