Trace Reavis captured the Bronze Medal π₯, standing next to Miss Kennedy MacCleery of Western Albemarle. Kennedy took home 1st place with a -4, 66 as Western won the team Championship by 25 strokes over Liberty Christian Academy.
After saying our goodbyes after 9 hours at Heritage Oaks, Lin and I headed over to Buffalo π Wild Wings with two things in mind. Watch the Seattle Mariners try to take a 2-0 lead at Toronto and celebrate the efforts of Trace Reavis and Head Coach, Jeremy Ogle.
The closest thing to a celebratory Cake π
Seattle leads 10 – 3 in the 8th and while we were enjoying that, Bill Turner and Alan Knight dropped by to create a Photo π· op for our upcoming book π, Diamonds π are a Girls Best Friend
One third of the Book π tells the story about Alan’s Softball program at Page County and 1/3 is about my 50 favorite Ballpark stories. Of course, the final third is about Rick Nester and Cavalier Park.
Bill Turner is the architect of my Favorite Baseball βΎοΈ memory. A created on the fly double header that we hosted in Luray, Virginia back in the day.
Hopefully the Reavis family πͺ and the Ogle family πͺ have safely returned to The Hill πππ.
Thank You to everyone who attempted to help me spread the word about the shot by shot coverage π!!
Thank You to Jeremy Ogle and his two Assistant Coaches for all of their efforts this season with our Golfing Cavaliers.
Thank You to Wyatt Ogle for helping keep Trace loose during his round of Golf β³ today.
Thank You to Mr & Mrs Reavis for being over the Top gracious over the past two seasons !
Finally, Thank You π Trace Reavis, for representing our team, The Hill and your Family πͺ with so much Class !
Heritage Oaks Golf course is set to host the Class 3 (Monday) and Class 4 (Tuesday ) State Golf tournaments. Carroll County High School π« golfer Trace Reavis is set to represent both the Cavaliers and The Hill for the second consecutive year.
As the Senior is preparing for the round of Golf β³ that will be his final official round, he will do so under the watchful eye of Carroll County Head Coach, Jeremy Ogle. Proud Parents, Mr and Mrs Eddie Reavis will be taking in the action π¬ as well.
Golf β³ officially gets underway at 8am with Trace teeing off shortly after. The damp weather on Sunday should have soften the greens and the temperature π‘ is projected to be in the Mid 50’s to Low 60’s.
Heritage Oaks is a golf course that I have played a couple dozen times over the years and the number one thing to know about the course is that its scorable. It’s not about the driver here today, it will be about ones ability to throw darts at the flag stick.
We will pick this back up soon, from the Golf Course β³.
