Much has been made of the level of competition that takes place inside of the π‘ where Marion and Sheila Harris raised their three little Girls. The youngest of the young Ladies, Callie “Half Pint ” Harris is preparing to become the third daughter to play Sports at the Collegiate level. The trio earned enough letters at Carroll County High School to start their own alphabet.
Sunday morning, Half Pint traded in her spikes for a dress π and sparkled in front of the congregation at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church. First as part of a duet and then as a soloist, her voice sounded at a level beyond her years.
What happened next created a memory of a lifetime. Both of her Big Sisters were sitting in the pew in front of us and in one motion they reached down for their cellphones and began to record their little Sis in her moment of serving the Lord.
In that one fell swoop, Adrienne and Natalie showed that there is so much more to their relationship than who runs faster, or kicks a ball harder or torments Mom and Dad easier.
Life will always be full of challenges and it should go without saying that the number one thing that family πͺ can do is be there for one another.
Because it wouldn’t seem normal to not take at least one good natured poke at our friend, Marion. We will close by saying that Shelia Harris sure did raise some neat children !
